Ace - 5 year old male Greyhound

Sadly the beautiful Ace has had to come back into our care, he is a 5 year old male Greyhound he was rehomed recently with one of our other dogs Tig. Although they were getting on well there was an incident. Ace can be a little growly if stepped on and the dogs were sunbathing in the garden together. We can only summise that Tig stepped on Ace and Ace jumped it and had a growl. Tig probably took it the wrong way and it ended up in a scuffle and Ace was quite badly injured.

Non of us would have even thought that Tig who is the softest lump in the world normally would have had it in him. The new adopters were naturally worried about keeping the two together. Ace has now recovered from his injuries and is good as new. It did lead him to be reactive at one time to a Shepherd cross shortly after but he has settled back down to his usual happy go lucky self and has since not bothered.

Ace is a fabulous dog who is back in his original foster home where he had been for a long period of time. He co-exists with 2 female Labradors, 1 male Greyhound and 1 female Greyhound they all get on really well. Ace will make a fabulous addition to a pack or a wonderful first time Greyhound and would be equally happy as an only dog.

Ace is your A typical Greyhound boy. He walks well on leash in the main and has now learnt to walk on and ignore small dogs and cats but can still be a little excitable at squirrels and rabbits but a firm NO stops him in his tracks. Ace is spotlessly clean in the house, fine to be left and is great with older children. He is a little bit un nerved around young or loud children so dog savy children 10 plus would be best.

This boy is so ready to move on and so ready for his new home now and we only hope that it isnt far away. He is so handsome and loving and just a really happy, calm, serene lad. Ace is vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, micro-chipped and neutered.
