Alfie – 1 year old male Yorkshire Terrier

Introducing Alfie, the cute little 1 year old Yorkshire Terrier with a sweet pointy nose. He is a lovely boy who can be a little timid, however as he has settled into family life with his fosterers he is becoming more confident.  He loves fuss and attention and has formed a lovely bond with the fosterer’s daughter who is nine years old.

Alfie enjoys the company of other dogs and although cautious to begin with he happily plays with the foster carers resident dogs. He is house-trained, he may initially mark when he moves into his forever home to make himself feel more secure but it should pass in a day or two.  Alfie walks well on the lead, he does pull a little bit but as he’s so small it shouldn’t be very noticeable.

Alfie happily spends a few hours alone each day in his crate and sleeps quietly through the night.  He is just a pup so would benefit from some basic training to improve his overall good doggie manners.  He hasn’t had any experience of living with cats but we feel that as he is so young he will be able to learn that cats are the boss.

Alfie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  Potential adopters are expected to travel to meet Alfie in his foster home in South Wales. If you are interested in adopting Alfie please read about our re homing process and complete a Pre Adoption form and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
