Alfie – 18 month old male Japanese Akita
This is Alfie, a young 18 month white Japanese Akita male in North Derbyshire who was found straying and taken to the pound. As you can see from the photograph, Alfie is a smiley boy, our assessor claimed that he really brightened her day! Alfie is a friendly boy, who likes to give kisses and did not mind being stroked by our Rep.
He took treats very gently, and whilst strong on the lead, he responded well to correction, something which can be followed up in his new home. Alfie has not been thoroughly tested with other dogs, and as a stray without background history, he will not be placed in a home with young children.
