Amber is a 3 year old female Corgi. Amber came into rescue through no fault of her own. She is three years old and currently being fostered in RCT, South Wales, where is proving to be a wonderful all-round companion with dogs, cats and children. Amber loves people and adores being stroked and fussed. Currently her spay wound is sore so care has to be taken when picking her up. She is happy to live with sensible children and loves to get the fuss and attention from them.
Amber is fine with other dogs. A bit indifferent. She shows so interest in curling up with them on their bed, and would rather sit by herself on her own bed. We feel Amber would be able to live with or without other dogs. Cats aren’t a problem for Amber and she lives with one in her foster home. One telling off from the resident feline and she ignores it!
Amber is happy in the home and has no fear of loud noises. She has been left for around three hours at a time in a crate and has always been clean. She sleeps downstairs with the other dogs at night with no issues. When left for short periods she enjoys sitting on the back of the sofa to watch the world go by. Walks! This little girl loves them. She is great on a lead and harness and enjoys getting out and about. She travels well in the car and is fine at the vets.
A home where Amber is included in family life would be perfect for her. Getting out and about, trips in the car, plenty of walks, a lot of fuss and cuddles. She adores sensible children, can live with another non-pushy dog, and cats… We feel Amber would do best where her family are around for most of the day.
Amber is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet Amber in her foster home in RCT, South Wales.
If you are interested in adopting Amber please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
