Angie – 8-9 year old female Collie Cross

Angie is a medium sized Collie cross of around 8 or 9 years old. Angie is fostered in Gt Yarmouth (FR001). Angie was rescued from the Mizil shelter in Romania when it was due to be closed and the dogs set to be killed. Angie is a star in the making. Initially she wouldn’t come anywhere near me but over the last few weeks her intelligent and enquisitive nature, combined with her love of food, has guided her forwarded and her confidence with me has grown hugely.

Angie is a quiet and independent girl. She is still very shy and not all that sure that she needs human affection in her life but she does humour me and allow me to fuss her. She is fantastic with other dogs but doesn’t appear to form firm bonds with them so I think she would also be fine in a home without canine companions.

All Angie really wants is a quiet life. After years of noisy and stressful public shelter dwelling she most certainly deserves a confortable bed and a bit of peace and quiet.
