Angus is a 2 year old male Terrier Cross. Angus is a rescue from Cyprus who is now in a foster home in Manningtree, Essex and would love to find his very own forever home. Here is a little about him from his foster mum. “Angus is generally calm and placid. He is playful and loves his toys. He also loves playing with my grandchildren and other dogs. He is small/ medium in size, weighing around 11kg. Angus walks well on his harness and he will keep his harness when he moves to his forever home.
He has adapted well to the dog food I use and has suffered no stomach upsets as a result of the change. He shows no food aggression and eats together with my dog. He is still very food orientated and may steal other people’s or animal’s food, if the opportunity presents! He really enjoys the company of other dogs and lives happily with my own dog. My daughter’s dog visits often and he loves playing rough and tumble with her.
Angus is very sociable and friendly towards people. He loves spending time with my grandchildren, ages 4, 5 and 10. Unfortunately Angus does not like cats and reacts badly when he sees one, barking and growling. I cannot decide if this is because he is frightened of them or just really he does not like them. I have not had the opportunity to observe him with other types of animal.
Angus is working really hard at his house training and hasn’t had an accident in over a week, so definitely getting there. Angus is not crate trained. He sleeps really well at night, I never get disturbed. He sleeps alone in the kitchen at night and also stays in the kitchen when I go out in the day. He shows no sign of separation anxiety.
Angus would adapt easily to any type of home. My own home fluctuates from being very quiet and peaceful, when it is just me, the dogs and cat if she can summon up the courage to join us, to being crowded and noisy when my family plus children arrive. He copes well with all situations. I do think that Angus would like a doggy pal to share with but I am sure he would cope with being an only dog and getting all the spoiling. No cats though. Angus is learning the basics very quickly. Time and patience will pay off and with your support he has the potential to be the most loyal family pet. Angus is a very loving, friendly dog. He is quick to learn and eager to please. All he asks of you is love, food, comfort and fun. In return he will give you unconditional love back with no questions asked” He is now ready to find his forever home.
