Anya – 10 year old female German Shepherd Dog Cross
Anya is a 10 year old German Shepherd cross girl who is with the RSPCA being fostered in Bollington, Cheshire because her owner was committed under the Mental Health Act and Anya was left in the property, a friend went in daily to see to her.
Anya is spayed, we’ve had her microchipped, wormed, flead and started vaccinations. She is a healthy dog and in great condition. She has an infection by one of her teeth (they are generally in very good condition) so is on Antibiotics for that.
Anya is medium in size and is a lovely sweet girl. She has lived with a dog before and is fine with them, however she likes to chase cats apparently! We don’t know if she’s ever lived with children so we don’t want to rehome her with toddlers but she will make a lovely family pet.
We’ve established that at first she is incredibly shy and her behaviours indicate that’s she’s experienced ill treatment. However, it doesn’t take long to bond with you at all; she loves her fosterer Aunty Connie!
Anya loves playing ball and loves her chews. She is not toy or food possessive and walks well on the lead.
She is housetrained and loves lazing in front of the fire. This girl so deserves to find a new family she can call her own who will dote on her! Please do not let her age put you, 10 for a cross breed is not old!
