Archie is a 9 month old, 30kg Kuvasz Cross. He is a giant puppy with lots of energy who needs an experienced, patient owner to give him lots of attention. He was adopted at 9 weeks old, but has recently been returned due to his owners moving abroad. Archie is great with other dogs and walks nicely on the lead, house trained and is incredibly smart (he knows lots of tricks!).
He is however very nervous around new people and will bark for a few minutes till he feels safe. He would really benefit from being taken to agility classes and possibly being placed with an older, well behaved dog to boost his confidence. He needs an active home, with a big garden. He is okay with cats but cannot be rehomed with children.
*Update April 2016*
Archie was born on the 20/6/2015 in Worcestershire, he is part Kuvasz, a large breed of dog which is closely related and has similar traits to the Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Archie is large energetic puppy who loves agility and being part of an active household. He is strikingly beautiful and gets comments where ever he goes!
He is also a very loving affectionate dog, but is initially fearful of new people he meets. This lasts for around 10 minutes and then he becomes friends. He would be best placed in a rural setting, possibly where barking at strangers would be welcomed as a deterrent.
Archie loves being around other dogs, walks well on a lead, is house trained and well behaved. He is okay with cats but cannot be rehomed with children. He needs a patient owner who is used to large breeds and can provide lots of exercise and will help with boosting his confidence.
