Archie is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. Little Archie is a very sweet young man (DOB May 2015). He has unfortunately been mishandled by humans in various situations, making his stress and anxiety levels reach boiling point and has resorted to snapping for the humans to back off and try to understand his fear. Archie is now currently undergoing a behaviour modification program designed to teach Archie to start accepting hands again (as he is very hand shy) and nice humans under guidance of Sophie at Lowhills Animal Behaviour.
Archie would love a human all to himself so no other animals in the home and no children please. He would also like his new human to be around for a good portion of the day, so not to be left more than a few hours at a time. (Either a home worker, part-timer or retired).
Archie’s new owners would also be very good at listening to instructions given to them to help Archie settle into his new home without any hiccups and also learn how to read Archie’s behaviour and how to help him when he gets fearful or anxious. Archie has an abundance of love to give, is very bright, is already trained to a basic good citizen dog scheme puppy and housetrained. I think Archie would be very good at agility.
