Archie – 14 week old male Border Collie

Archie is a 14 week old Border collie. He is going to need a lot of exercise, stimulation and also puppy classes.
Archie has come from a working background. This means he is bred to run for miles everyday. He needs an active home where he is going to be out either walking, running or doing agility classes. We think he would be better with older teenagers.

Archie has been left for long periods of time on his own while his owners have been at work. Therefore he has had very little socialisation, he has been out with six other dogs today and he was fine. He loves playing with Raven the 5month old black Labrador. He does need more house training. He is very quick to learn, and we have had only one wee in the house today and that was on a puppy pad! He is living with cats, but he does like to chase them so would need one that would stand up to him. Archie also needs to learn a few manners where his food is concerned as he has a habit of growling. He still thinks he has to compete for it, as he would’ve done with his siblings.

Archie has been wormed, deflead and had all his vaccinations. He will need neutering when he is old enough.
