Ariel is a 4-month old Chihuahua who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. Ariel would have led a sheltered life up until now and is still a little bit cautious around people she doesn’t know. We are looking for a Chihuahua-experienced home for Ariel where any children are dog savvy and sensible. Ariel would happily be rehomed with another small-breed dog. As she is still a puppy training and socialisation is ongoing.
Ariel is young enough to learn how to behave around cats, although she has currently not been cat tested. As with all youngsters, Ariel will need her humans to be home for most of the day so she can be housetrained and socialised and learn how much fun it can be living a normal life. She may chew things and will no doubt have toileting accidents so her new family will have to be prepared for this.
Once Ariel has had all of her vaccinations she will need ongoing training and socialisation as most of her experiences will be new ones. Car travel, lead walking, meeting other people and dogs will all need to be worked on in her new home. A committed home who are experienced with Chihuahuas and know their quirks is what we are looking for for Ariel. She will need regular walks and ongoing training. Learning how to play, learning about housetraining and even puppy classes! She will happily live with another dog.
Ariel will be microchipped, up to date with her flea and worming treatment and vaccinated upon rehoming. Neutering will be the responsibility of the adopter and follow up checks will be done to ensure this has been carried out. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in RCT, South Wales.
If you are interested in adopting Ariel please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
