Arya is a 4 month old female Cross-Breed. Arya and her siblings were born in rescue in Spain their mum was found heavily pregnant trying to stay alive the streets but very close to giving birth, their mum is called Poppy and was so nervous we hate to think what happened to her, she was very lucky and secured a foster home which offered her peace and quiet to give birth to her babies, these babies have had a fantastic start and have been so well looked after, Poppy was a wonderful mum and we hope to be able to help her once she is more confident to make the journey from Spain but for now she will stay in foster.
These puppies like their mum will not be terribly big we think they may make 8-10 kilos at the most. Arya for some reason is more timid than her siblings and the quieter one of the bunch, I think more so than her siblings she would benefit from going into a home with a gentle older dog to help with her confidence, you can see her playing in the video but always the one that hangs back a bit, such a pretty girl and still a baby.
These puppies will not be homed to full-time workers nor with children under 8 because of the size of them – they need to go to responsible homes who have had dogs before and understand the responsibility of taking on a young puppy and the hard work that needs to be put in while they are still young to bring them up to be well mannered balanced adults, including dog training, exercise and most importantly, your time. These puppies have been well socialised but live in a very rural area so will not be used to traffic etc.
Meet Arya’s mum, Poppy.
Arya is too young to be spayed so you will be expected to do this as part of the adoption agreement.
