Ash – 4 year old male Greyhound

Ash is a beautiful 4 year old Greyhound who came to us from his trainer who is now unable to care for him.

Now in foster care he is a Joy to have in the house and has made friends with other Greyhounds and a Labrador. His “special friend” is the familys 1 year old grandaughter with whom he treats with the utmost respect and gentleness. He has been clean since day one and loves fuss and attention.

A knock on the door is his signal to let you know he is there, but at all other times he saves his voice apart from the odd grunt of approval to a tummy tickle.

Out walking he is alert and eager but with continued training will walk by your side. He is a little more than interested in other dogs when out, especially when they are running free around him so a few more lessons on social behaviour would help.

“Food is my life! ” could be his motto and will eat anything edible but has never chewed un-edible objects!

Ash will make a wonderful addition to any family and deserves his own sofa sooner rather than later.
