Born in January 2015, Atara is a medium sized female dog with a medium / long coat. She is currently in the care of RSDR waiting for her forever home. In June 2016, an elderly man stopped at the shelter and asked if we could help Atara and her pups. They had been dumped where there were building works being carried out and it was clear they were in danger.
Poor Atara was in such a panic due to the lorries near her and her babies. She was very matted, dirty and covered in fleas. She has come a long way and is now ready to find her forever home. She has learnt to play with the staff and the other dogs at the shelter and is now a very playful and friendly girl.
It is apparent that she was chained up for a long time as the hair around her neck and chest hasn’t fully grown back yet; we hope this won’t put off any prospective adopters.
She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and comes with her own pet passport.
