Slater – 11 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Slater is a fab and friendly 11 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier who came to us with no history. Since he’s been here we’ve found him to be a friendly boy. If you can’t see him when you come to visit, and would like to meet him, please ask a member of staff. He is not in the main kennel block at the moment as he had some itchy skin when he arrived and is currently being monitored.
Jack – 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier
Jack is a 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier who came in as his owner became ill and was unable to look after him. Jack is housetrained and ok in the car. He seems fine with other dogs but has never met any cats. He is ok to be left short periods of time. A nice little dog.
Lola – 10 month old female Lurcher
Lola is a 10 month old female Lurcher who needs a new home as the older dog in her previous home kept attacking her. A nice girl who can be a bit shy at first, but is very sweet. Seems fine with other dogs. Hasn’t met any cats. She has lived with children with no problems.
Ozzy – 7 month old male Collie cross Spaniel
Ozzy is a 7 month old male Collie cross Spaniel who needs a home where he will get lots of exercise and mental stimulation, preferably with people who are used to high energy dogs. He’s a lovely boy, but has bags of energy. He’s very intelligent and quickly learns new things.
He is housetrained and travels ok in the car. He’s ok to be left short periods, but would not be suitable to go to a home where people are out at work all day. He’d be ok with older children, but not young children as he would knock them over in his excitment. He loves everyone and everything, he loves to play with other dogs. Basically a lovely, enthusiastic, dog who needs an owner who has the time to spend training him and occupying his mind.

Bruno is a 4 year old male Boxer who is looking for a new home. Bruno’s owners moved and couldn’t take him along. He’s a friendly chap. He seems ok with other dogs. He does chase cats though.
Tom – 18 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Tom is a fun and friendly 18 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Tom was a stray so we don’t know much about him. Seems likes a nice friendly chap. Hasn’t been a problem since he arrived here and really deserves a home to call his own.
Roxy – 3 year old female Labrador cross Collie
Roxy is a pretty 3 year old female Labrador cross Collie. Roxy has come to us as her owner has joined the army. She’s previously lived with cats with no problems. She is housetrained and travels ok in the car. She’s used to lots of walks and is good on the lead. She’s often to be found sat in her bed in the warm, so if you come to visit and can’t see her please ask a member of staff to get her for you! Roxy has previously lived with children. However, she doesn’t like to be disturbed when she’s eating and because of this she can’t go to a home with young children, older children would be ok.
Jess – 1 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Jess is a fantastic 1 year old female German Shepherd Dog. She is a lovely girl who has had a tough start in life. She needs a new home, a new start and some love and care. She is such a sweet dog with lots going for her. She will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation as she is very clever and has so much potential.
Gizzy – 5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross
Gizzy is a fab little 5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross. He seems a nice boy. Seems ok with other dogs, but will chase cats. He is house trained and also good in car. Came in as previous owner moved house and wasn’t allowed to keep him. Can you offer him a fresh start?
Florence – 4 year old female Whippet
Florence is a lovely 4 year old female Whippet who is looking for a home. Unfortunately, we have no history about her and she has only recently arrived into rescue. She does seem a lovely little girl and is coming out of her shell more every day. Please get in touch if you would like more information about little Flo.
