Mo and Jo – 3 year old male and female Labrador Cross
Mo (female) and Jo (male) are brother and sister Labrador cross neutered 3 year olds. They both will get on with older teenagers but not younger children and neither of them like cats. Mo does get on with some other dogs but Jo usually doesn’t.

Mo suffers from luxation of her rear kneecap and has inoperable deformation of her front legs. They were admitted as strays so not a lot is known about their history but they would prefer to go to a home together.

Lady Widget is a 7 1/2 year old neutered female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Whippet. She is good with older teenagers but would not be suitable to be rehomed to household with younger children.
She does not get on with other bitches but does get on with some males. She did once bite over a dog fight but doesn’t usually bite. She is very loyal and affectionate but can get over-protective when she has bonded.

Jed is a 5 year old neutered male Lurcher. He is not good with children – he was rescued from a local horse sale by a family with 8 children and now just wants a bit of piece and quiet! He is good with other dogs but dislikes cats.
He can be unpredictable and snappy and does not particularly like his neck being touched but once he has bonded with his owners he is affectionate and protective.

Sasha is a 7 year old neutered female Rottweiler cross. She does not get on with children or cats but does get on with some male dogs. Sasha is very loving but can get aggressive around food. Sasha was initially admitted to the sanctuary in 2004 as a stray so not much is known about her history but we do know she is good on a lead, house-trained and is not destructive.
Disraeli – 7 year old male English Cocker Spaniel
Disraeli is a neutered male English Cocker Spaniel who is approximately 7 years old. He is not good with children or cats but he does get along with some dogs. Before he came to PACT, he bit his owner while being groomed. He is very well-trained and will walk to heel and come when called. He can, however, get a little bit jealous from time to time.
Conan – 6 year old male German Shepherd cross Dobermann
Conan is a neutered male German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross Dobermann who is approxmiately 6 years old. He is not good around younger children as he does tend to jump up and he has bitten a child when he was fostered out in 2003.
Despite sometimes being destructive and insecure, Conan is very affectionate and does love his tummy tickled! He gets on with most other dogs but not cats and he does occasionally bark at the cockerels here. He can jump VERY high and has very poor recall – he thinks it’s all a big game and will just run faster if you chase him!

Bruno is a 7 1/2 year old male neutered Dalmatian. He would not be suitable for families with very young children but he is okay with older teenagers. He has bitten in the past when he felt threatened but he is much better now as he has spent time at a boarding kennels with a behaviourist.
He gets on with some other dogs and he is not destructive. He used to be very nervous and possessive around food but is much more settled now. He does not get on with cats.

Alfie is a neutered male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Boxer who is approximately 3 years old. He isn’t good with children because he’s a bit too boisterous and can be unpredictable. He doesn’t get on with other dogs and he may have lived with cats before but he tries to chase them here at the sanctuary! He is a friendly boy but he doesn’t like being on a lead and will need an experienced owner.
Bonzo – 7 1/2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
Bonzo is a neutered 7 1/2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross male. He would probably not be suitable around younger children as he is quite strong and does jump up but he is playful so older teenagers may be okay around him. He gets on with some dogs and has lived with one in the past.
He has been through several foster homes but has never bitten any of his previous owners. He can be a little bit boisterous though and he does chew things when he gets bored.
