Bronson – 3 year old male Mastiff Cross
Bronson is a 3 year old Mastiff cross who is good with people and children. Bronson has only just arrived so needs to have a full assessment.
We do know he is epileptic and the kennels can advise further on this condition, how it affects Bronson and whether he requires any medication. Bronson is a very strong dog who requires lead training. At the moment he takes you for a walk! A beautiful big dog with a really lovely nature.
Lilly – 6 month old female Rottweiler cross Labrador
Lilly is a lovely Labrador cross Rottweiler who is 6 months old. Good with children and other dogs. No history of living with cats. Lilly is a lovely girl, very lively and energetic.
She will need training as she’s just a large very playful puppy at the moment with tug of war being a favourite game. Beautiful temperament though and was a very confident, sociable girl so with a little training will make someone a wonderful pet.
Buster – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Buster is a gorgeous 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has literally just arrived with a very handsome face. Details will follow after he has been fully assessed. He does seem particularly friendly and very happy. Buster was happy to play with the older children and loved a cuddle.
He seems to really love being around people, so much so he really didn’t want to go back into his kennel. He would probably benefit from a home where someone can be with him most of the day as he seems a very sociable dog but the full details will follow when the kennels have been able to get to know his personality better.
Marley – 11 month old male Border Collie
Marley is a fabulous Bordie Collie aged around 11 months old. He’s good with kids and dogs but not used to cats. Marley has only just arrived so still needs to be assessed but he has already been described as very “playful and affectionate”.
It soon became clear that this boy is incredibly ball focused and really loves to play football with anyone willing to kick it for him (see videos). Marley is clearly a very intelligient and active dog like all Collies and will need an owner prepared to give him plenty of exercise, challenges and stimulation. He would probably make a fantastic agilty or working dog.
Jack – 8 year old male English Springer Spaniel
Jack is an 8 year old English Springer Spaniel who has only just arrived with us and is therefore still ungoing initial assessments. You cannot fail to fall in love with this guy. He’s an absolute star. Jack has been described as a “good all rounder” so probably good with dogs, kids and cats but the kennels will confirm and we’ll update this text when we have more information.
Jack was quite shy on first meeting you but it only took a few tentative sniffs for him to realise you could give him that tummy tickle he was desperately craving. He soon turned into a very fussy lad who just wanted lots and lots and lots of cuddles and fuss. Jack has been used to living outside so may need to learn how to live in a home. A really super boy who will make a wonderful family pet. As with all spaniels, he will need plenty of exercise.
Koda – 5 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Koda is a male German Shepherd around 5 years old. A very friendly boy, good with other dogs, children and cats. Has a rather endearing slightly floppy left ear.
A really lovely boy who will be an easy fit into any home. He’s very calm, affectionate and sociable.
Paddy – 18 month old male Terrier Cross
Paddy is a very sweet 18 month old curly coated wire haired Terrier Cross. He’s quiet and friendly and a little shy until he gets to know you.
Paddy has been known to chase so it is probably best that he’s rehomed as the only animal. Paddy is known to be good with children.
Kelsey – 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Kelsey is a 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier brought into us as her owner could no longer afford to care for her. She has recently had a litter of pups who have all now been rehomed so now Kelsey’s babies have flown the nest, it’s time she had a family again. Kelsey is a really lovely girl and we cannot stress that enough.
You’ll very quickly fall in love with her. Kelsey is known to be good with kids but would need to be rehomed as the only dogs and as she likes chasing cats, she’s probably best rehomed without felines.
Zac – 1 year old male Rottweiler Cross
Zac is a 1 year old Rottweiler Cross who was brought into us as he doesn’t like cats. Zac is great with children and other dogs and is a really friendly, likely lad.
He’s quite slender for a Rottie which maybe due to his young age or perhaps what he is crossed with so he may possibly fill out with time. A really lovely, affectionate boy who will make someone a wonderful pet.
Diesel – 4 year old male Lurcher cross German Shepherd Dog
This is Diesel and he is a 4 year old male Lurcher cross German Shepherd Dog. He’s quite territorial with strangers and will need an owner prepared to visit him a few times prior to rehoming to ensure he builds his trust. Diesel has no history with other dogs, cats or children and will need an experienced owner prepared to go the extra mile.
He would benefit from further training around his territorialness. He’s a lovely and friendly waggy tailed boy when he knows you and we hope we can find the right home for him.
