Barnaby – 3 year old male Cross-Breed
Barnaby is a medium sized Cross-Breed dog who was found as a stray – he’s a little underweight at the moment and we think he is around 3 years old. He has been neutered and we think he maybe ok with other dogs but this is still under assessment at the moment as he has only just arrived in our care.
We have no history on what he would be like with cats and children but he was fine around 10 and 12 year old children thoroughly enjoying a game of tug of war with an old dog lead! Barnaby absolutely adores a cuddle and is a really affectionate boy. All in all, first assessments are that he’s a really lovely dog.
This dog is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.

Smudge, a Jack Russell Terrier Cross about 18 months old. He was found as a stray so we have no history. He has been neutered and seems ok with female dogs.
Smudge is a really friendly little lad, whose tail never stops wagging. He really enjoyed having some fuss from 10 and 12 year old children.

4Mar2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MORERio – 2-3 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross
Rio is a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross born in our kennels on 15 November 2009 so is 2-3 months old. Her Mum Roxie came into as us after being found abandoned, tied to a tree and pregnant.
Rio’s sibling has been rehomed already leaving just this fun loving little chap needing a home. We obviously don’t know what Rio has been crossed with but you can meet his Mum as she is also in our care and a really lovely temperament. A lovely, playful and fussy little lad but as with all dogs of this breed he’ll need plenty of exercise as he gets older.
This dog is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.
2Feb2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MOREWilliam – 8 year old male Pointer
William is an 8 year old Pointer who has not been exercised and overfed for some years. As a result he is grossly overweight (over double his correct body weight) and he had already lost weight prior to these photos and video being taken.
William is therefore on a special diet and appropriate exercise whilst we manage to reduce his body weight and will need a new owner to continue this care until he is in a more comfortable condition. William really is a lovely boy. Very friendly, affectionate, good with dogs and people. He really likes being with you so would suit someone who can be with him most of the day or living with another dog for company.
This dog is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.
26Jan2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MOREGilly – 3 year old female Labrador Cross
Gilly is a female brindle Labrador cross aged around 3 years old. She’s calm, friendly, confident and a waggy tailed girl.
Gilly was due to be put to sleep at the dog pound as she was an unclaimed stray and they needed the space for more strays. We thought she was such a lovely girl we brought her to our kennels as we knew we could find her a new home. Gilly is a really unusual colour yet clearly very Labrador! As we have no background information on her the kennels are assessing her temperament whilst she is in their care but first assessments are very good.

This dog is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.
5Jan2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MORERocky – 3 year old male Cross-Breed
Rocky is a brindle male crossbreed aged around three years old. Rocky is timid and a little frightened at the moment. He’ll come out of his kennel on the lead very obediently. There are no growls but he’s clearly feeling a little overwhelmed in his new environment and has his tail between his legs.
Rocky has been rescued from death row at the dog pounds where he was scheduled to be put to sleep. We thought he was such a lovely boy we’d give this guy a chance to find a forever home and gave him one of our kennels until a home was found. We hope he’ll come out of his shell a little more as he settles in but our kennels will continue to assess his character now he is in our care. As he was a stray we have no background information on him but first impressions are very good even though he’s a little scared.

This dog is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.
5Jan2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MORERalph – 6 year old male Labrador Cross
Ralph is a male black Labrador cross aged around 6 years old. He’s an obedient boy, slightly lankier than a Labrador who sits and gives paw to command despite being in new surroundings with many distractions.
Ralph has been rescued from death row where he was due to be put to sleep as an unclaimed stray. We thought this fabulous fella would make someone a great pet so gave him a space in our kennels until we find his forever home. Due to Ralph coming from the pound we have no background information on him but will be assessing him whilst he is in our kennels. He’s been with us since 23 December and first impressions are that he’s a really lovely boy.

This dog is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.
5Jan2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MORESammy – 2 year old female Border Terrier cross Lakeland Terrier
This is Sammy and she is a 2 year old female Border Terrier cross Lakeland Terrier Dog. She’s a really lovely little girl who is friendly, curious and confident. Sammy is a top little dog who will make terrier lovers a wonderful pet!
As Sammy has only recently come to us from the pound we have no background information on her but the kennels are already assessing her character and first impressions are that she’s a fabulous little dog. Sammy must be rehomed as an only dog and she needs an experienced ‘firm but fair’ terrier owner.

5Jan2010 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MOREPrincess – 9 month old female Labrador Cross
Princess is a female 9 month old Labrador cross. She is housetrained and does get on with other dogs. Princess has been used to living in a dog cage. She’s very timid and reluctant to leave the sanctuary of her bed at the moment. A very frightened girl who literally trembles when you approach.
We are hoping she comes out of her shell when she gets used to the kennel environment. All the moment she is finding it all rather stressful.
Princess is at Panton Kennels – Tel: 01673 858622. Please ring to make an appointment. As this is a private boarding kennel, appointments must be made before arrival to avoid disappointment.
24Dec2009 | RSPCA Lincolnshire North and Humber Branch | READ MOREDottie – 6 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Dottie is approx 6 years old and is a female Jack Russell Terrier. Dottie hasn’t had the best start in life and has had a nasty eye injury which has resulted in her only having one eye. She has had a litter of puppies every time she has been in season which is so sad as it must have made life pretty tough for her in a multi dog household. Dottie is fine with cats, dogs and older children. She’s a little timid for noisy younger children and may find this a little overwhelming.
Dottie was carrying puppies when she came into us with only two weeks left to go. The puppies have now been rehomed but Dottie has been continually overlooked which is so sad. She was very shy and withdrawn when she first arrived with our foster Mum’s love we are delighted to say she has come on leaps and bounds.
She’s still a little hesitant when she first meets strangers but soon comes over for a few nervous sniffs and some fuss. Dotty has an adorable little personality. Very affectionate, incredibly sweet with a really lovely temperament. It’s time this wonderful little girl got a break in life and found her forever home where she can be well loved and looked after, enjoying her retirement from constantly producing and mothering puppies.
If you are interested in Dottie please contact her foster Mum, Kate on 07762062007. Kate does have a part time job in addition to being a foster Mum so please bear with her if she can’t answer your call straight away.
