Skye – 1 year old female Boxer cross Cane Corso

Skye is a 1 year old female Boxer cross Cane Corso. Due to a change in the family circumstances this young dog is unfortunately looking for a new home. She is a large soppy dog with an excellent temperament but does require further training, however she will make a wonderful family pet. She currently lives with another dog but would not be suitable for a home with cats. If you have the time to give Skye the training and exercise that she needs please call for further details.

Rosie – 10 year old female Labrador Retriever

Rosie is a fun and friendly 10 year old female Labrador Retriever. Rosie came to us due to a change in her family circumstances. She is a lovely girl with plenty of energy and loves her walks. She is excellent with children and very well behaved but really does not like cats. She did pull on the lead but although this is now being corrected it will need to be reinforced.

Molly – 18 month old female Whippet Cross

Molly is a wonderful 18 month old female Whippet Cross. Molly is an absolute dream. She is great with other dogs and is used to living with children. She is of a sensitive nature however and would prefer older less boisterous children. She enjoys and must have plenty of exercise but afterwards likes nothing better than a cuddle and to crash out on the sofa (as you can see).

Sasha – 14 year old female Collie cross English Springer Spaniel

Sasha is a lovely 14 year old female Collie cross English Springer Spaniel. Don’t be fooled by her age Sasha is still full of life and loves her walks (her fosterer is taking her 5 times a day). She is in good health and is simply looking for someone who can give her the love and exercise she craves in her twilight years.

She is good with other dogs and although good with children would probably prefer a quieter life in an adult only home for most of the time.

Eddie – 5 month old male Labrador Cross

Hi this is Eddie, he is a Labrador Cross and is now about 5 months old and came to us with a broken leg and suspected broken ribs, despite this it doesn’t stop him from being a proper little character. He loves to play games and like any little puppy gets very excited, unfortunately when he gets over excited he does have a tendency to nip so he would be better in an adult only household.

He needs lots of love and a gentle but firm hand, as he would like very much to be the top dog. He is good with other dogs but would probably benefit from being in an only dog household. As to his breed, well it’s probably a mixture of labradpr and terrier. As he is going to be quite a large lad someone with large breed experience would be preferable.

Duchess – 8 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Duchess is an 8 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross girl who came into our care having been abandoned with her brother, unfortunately her brother did not survive.

Duchess is a lovely girl who loves to be with you every second of the day. She is friendly towards everyone cats and dogs alike. She is happily living with a family consisting of three children, 2 dogs and a cat. If she is a little unsure of things she will bark at it but shows no aggression. She is good on the lead, will pull a little at first but soon calms down.

Duchess is very keen to learn, she has learnt to sit and stay while with the fosterer and loves nothing more than to play. We are still in the progress of house training, although she is making progress she still has accidents. She is very food proud with the other dogs but fine with fosterer, when its dinner time she is fed separately away from the other dogs.

Harry – 5-6 year old male Irish Wolfhound cross Labrador

Harry is a fabulous 5-6 year old Irish Wolfhound cross Labrador Lurcher boy. He is a soft and gentle which is pretty amazing when you consider the neglect that he suffered. He was sadly very underweight, covered in fleas, had burns to his tummy and filthy matted hair. He never had any jabs and was rarely if ever walked. Also since having his jabs and ‘little op’ (though he didn’t feel it was that little) it was discovered that all his top back teeth had to be removed due to poor diet.

Despite this (and more) he is gentle and loving, craving nothing more than lots of cuddles. He now walks to heel, is generally good with kids (although would be better with older children) gets on with other dogs and cats. He is still nervous of strangers particularly men but this manifests itself in the shakes and if extremely stressed may have a little wee. However his nerves have greatly improved

He needs a patient, gentle and kind family (young or old) who will simply take time to love him and show him that he deserves a better life. He really is a very, very special dog and is worthy of being given a lovely life.

Carla – 5 year old female Catalan Sheepdog Cross

Carla is a 5 year old Catalan Sheepdog cross female who was originally found in a skip in Spain along with her sister. Her previous owner rescued her and eventually brought her back to England. Unfortunately a change in circumstances has meant that she is now looking for a new home. She is about the size of a Border Collie. She loves to be fussed and will crave attention and although good with other dogs when she is out but she can be a bit snappy in the home so would probably be best as the only dog. She is good with children and adults but absolutely hates cats! She’s well trained until she see’s a cat.

Sugar – 9 month old female Jack Russell Terrier

Sugar is a 9 month old Jack Russell Terrier girl who has only recently come into the branch but she has already made herself at home. She is a cute little girl who is quick to learn and loves to play (as you would expect of such a young dog), but would benefit from further training. She has not been neutered as yet but will be done as soon as possible.

Molly – 4 year old female English Bull Terrier

This friendly dog is Molly, she’s a 4 year old female English Bull Terrier who is looking for a new home since her previous owner had to reluctantly give her up for adoption. She loves playing ball and is very affectionate (seems to think everyone needs a wash!). Although she has lived with another dog she may prefer to be the only dog in the home. She gets on well with children. She has also lived with a cat but her previous owner said she probably wouldn’t leave her alone with one!!
