Lily – 3 year old female Rhodesian Ridgeback Cross
Lilly is a 3 year old female Rhodesian Ridgeback Cross. She can be shy and vocal when first meeting people so is looking for an experienced dog owner used to large dogs who willing to work with this. Once she knows you Lilly is a delightful girl with a big personality. Lilly is extremely affectionate and always full of fun. Lilly absolutely loves to play with toys, particularly tuggy games with her favourite ragger and always enjoys her walks.
Lilly is looking for a home with teenagers and adults as can be boisterous when playing. Lilly cannot be homed with cats. Lilly could possibly be homed with a well-mannered dog following a successful introduction at the centre.
Lilly is currently on a behaviour programme, so we are looking for owners who are willing to continue working with this. Lilly is a very intelligent dog who loves to learn and has tremendous focus, she would therefore really enjoy any canine sport like agility or obedience. Lilly needs a large secure garden where she can burn off some off her energy.
Lilly can be left for up to four hours on a regular basis.

Ellen is a 5 year old Terrier cross girl who arrived at the Blue Cross on the 21st April 2009. She has come all the way from Ireland to find a new home! We do not know her history. Ellen was unsure of men when she first arrived but we have seen an improvement in her behaviour. However she is wary of being handled or restrained by people she doesn’t know.
Elle is a fun-loving, playful dog who enjoys racing round our exercise pen, grabbing toys as she goes! She is quite a comical character who will make you laugh with her antics! Ellen walks well on her harness and enjoys being out and about. She is sociable but bossy around other dogs. She would prefer to be an only pet as she doesn’t like competing for attention!
Ellen has been with us for quite some time due to her insecurities around strangers. Since she has been with us she has had a small medical procedure carried out on her eyes to correct a problem she had. Her eyes will need regular monitoring.
Ellen really deserves to find a loving home as she has spent too long in kennels. She is looking for a single person or couple to bond with. Could you take on this loyal lady?

Asher is a magnificent looking Husky cross German Shepherd Dog aged 1 year and 5 months old. Like his breed would suggest he has bags of energy but settles easily and adores a fuss. Asher could be rehomed in a family where the children are older, calm and used to energetic dogs.Asher would be best suited to a home with no cats. Asher could be homed with another well matched dog, following a successful introduction at the centre.
He needs to have access to a secure fenced garden for him to explore and enjoy. Ideally Asher should not be routinely left for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Asher is looking for an owner with Husky experience, as he is very typical of his breed.
Due to Asher’s breed he is looking for a home where he can be given more exercise than your average family dog.
