Baxter – 18 month old male Rottweiler
Baxter is an 18 month old male Rottweiler. He is a very loving dog, good with most other dogs and children. He can be quite strong on the lead and will need some more training.
Luna – 2 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Lana is a 2 year old female German Shepherd who has some confidence issues, and will bark at strangers. She would suit an experienced home with no young children.
Maximus – 10 week old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Meet Maximus, he’s a 10 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy who is looking for a loving new home. He is the last puppy from a litter of five, his brothers and sisters have all found homes now, but for some reason this poor boy is still with us!
Trigger – 10 month old male Border Terrier
Trigger is a 10 month old male Border Terrier who gets on well with people but is not keen on other dogs. We believe this is due to not being properly socialised as he seems unsure of how to react to them. He responds well to training and is believed to be housetrained.
Tina – 4 year old female Victorian Bulldog
Tina is a 4 year old Victorian Bulldog, who arrived in a terrible state – extremely underweight, filthy, and with multiple bald patches and open wounds. Despite this, she is a wonderfully friendly dog who takes real pleasure from human company (escecially if you have a pocketful of treats!). She is very willing to please, and gets on well with other dogs.
Talia – 3 year old female Labrador cross Pointer
Talia is a 3 year old Labrador cross Pointer. She came to the rescue in a very poor state – extremely underweight and scared of her own shadow. She is finally starting to trust people, and is discovering what walkies are (although she hasn’t mastered walking calmly on a lead quite yet!) and learning how to play. She has been used for breeding before but has now been spayed. Her confidence around humans is coming on leaps and bounds, but unfortanately she doesn’t get on with other dogs.
Lily – 4 year old female Boxer cross American Bulldog
Lily is a 4 year old Boxer cross American Bulldog. Lily is a very special girl – she was born almost completely deaf, but it doesn’t affect her quality of life. She’s very friendly, with both people and other dogs, and is responsive to training. Lily is fully housetrained.
Isaac – 5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Issac is a 5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a wonderful, cheerful chap who gets on fantastically with other dogs and with people of all ages. He loves a couple and a play, but is also content just to relax with his humans.
Bluebell – 4 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Bluebell is a 4 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She’s a very playful dog, but unfortunately does not get along with other dogs. She can be quite dominant on occassion, so would ideally need an experienced owner.
Bertie – 9 month old male Beagle cross Foxhound
Bertie is a 9 month old Beagle cross Foxhound. He is a very lively boy, and very affectionate. He would make an excellent family pet – he is brilliant with people of all ages, and other dogs. He would need an experienced owner, and a home where he will not be left alone for long periods of time as he becomes very stressed when left.
