Yoshi
Yoshi is a 6 year old female Japanese Akita who has been neutered and has had all her jabs. She has spent the past four years living with another dog. She loves people and has lived with children most of her life, but does not like cats or small creatures.
Yoshi is very gentle around the house and makes an excellent watchdog. She love her walks and lovs chasing after her toys. She is looking for a loving home through no fault of her own and will make someone a loving companion.

Vinnie is a 2 year old male Japanese Akita who was rescued from death row at a council pound. He was found to be in a very poor condition through neglect. He has come on in leaps and bounds since being rescued. He is still in need of some TLC but will and does return any affection ten-fold.
He is good with other dogs at this time and has shared his kennel with another Akita bitch. He has got on well with the kennel owner’s two children, one of 5 years old and one of 8 years old.
Do you think you have what it takes to give this chap the loving home he so deserves? If you think you do give us a call.

Remy is a 3 year old female Japanese Akita. She will need boosters and spaying. She is currently in foster care where she has been for three weeks. She runs with a male Akita and they get on well.
When Remy was first fostered it was found she was not used to any form of traffic. She has in these past weeks got used to traffic noises, and she has also improved with her lead work and now walks to heel.
She is good over food and does not mind other dogs being close to her food when it’s on the floor. Remy will chase cats and birds, and would do better with older children as young children could be too noisy for her. Remy would possibly do better with a male companion as she gains a lot of confidence from them.

Rocky is a 20 month old male Japanese Akita who was found as a stray, Rocky has a strong character. He responds well to basic commands but does also test your will. He is sociable with dogs yet can be controlling if off lead - he is young and cocky!
He has no history as a stray but is a fun character with firm but fair handling. He is okay being left for a short time alone, but not good with children or cats.

Allie is a 5 year old Japanese Akita who will go to her new home neutered. Her owners found they could no longer keep her - she can be destructive if left alone, and is a independent girl but can be sociable when she knows you.
She is very strong so will require robust owners who are capable of handling her. Allie is very strong around other dogs and will not tolerate any nonsense.
Allie is looking for owners who have experience of large breeds, an active home where owners have time for her, a large SECURE GARDEN, and a household without young children or cats.
Cassy
Cassy is a 1 year old Japanese Akita female who is spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated. She gets on well with all people, but is not too happy around other dogs or (we think) cats. She is very loving to all family members and those she knows well.
Kujo
Kujo is a 3 year old male Japanese Akita. He comes boosted, wormed and micro-chipped. Kojo has not lived with children but knows a young family who visit with no problems.
He is good with food, good with people in general, but not good with other dogs or cats. He walks on a harness and rarely pulls. He likes being groomed but does not like his feet being touched.

Chico is an 8 year old female Japanese Akita. This girl has unfortunately has been passed from pillar to post. She is a great girl, Chiko can go to a home with a male dog and kids over 12 years of age - not because she is bad with kids, simply because of her age - she needs her own space these days!
She needs a loving forever home to live out her senior years in comfort. If you can provide this home or know of someone who can please contact me asap as this may be her last chance.

Kiku is a 4 year old female Japanese Akita who finds herself looking for a new home, sadly because, having lived with another Akita bitch for many years, they have started to fight.
It is not known which bitch started this but she is the youngest of the two girls so stands the better chance of finding a new home. The owners are very distressed about having to do this as she is very loving in every other way and very much part of their family. Kiku loves going for walks, and as you can see she is a lovely long coat.
Hoshi
Hoshi is a 1 1/2 year old female Japanese Akita who is micro-chipped, spayed and house-trained. She is a little nervous around noisy children despite living with some (but then she is only a child herself). We would prefer her to go into a home without cats.
