Nano – 20 month old male Samoyed
Nano is a 20 month old Samoyed male, who is looking for a new home because his owners felt they no longer had the time to care for him properly. Nano is a typical young boisterous Samoyed who needs further training. Although easily distracted, if training is done in a fun way he is quick to learn. His new owners will be expected to continue the training his foster carers have put in and will be expected to enrol him in training classes.

He is extremely playful and really knows how to enjoy himself: playing fetch for hours on end, tearing up tennis balls, enjoying long off-lead walks, splashing about in puddles, getting muddy in general and tucking into dried food or his favourite meal of boiled chicken and rice, playing some more.
Nano is not a particularly cuddly dog, preferring to enjoy fun and games and family outings. He will need at least two hours of off-lead exercise every day and he will need regular grooming, which he doesn’t particularly like, but will tolerate if you are firm with him. If you’ve not owned long coated breeds before be aware you will find dog hairs everywhere, his new owners will need to do a lot of vacuuming!
He gets along well with other dogs and children of all ages, although due to him still being a very young and boisterous pup we would prefer to home him with sensible older children only. He is getting used to being left alone and can now be left for a few hours without problems.
Nano is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
22Oct2008 | All-Breeds Rescue London | READ MORERocky – 7 year old male Dobermann
Rocky is a 7 year old Dobermann male, who is looking for a new home because his owners decided to emigrate leaving him behind. Rocky is a very soft-natured, well-rounded and well-behaved dog, who is good with children – he has lived with young children – and is good with other dogs. He is toilet-trained, knows all the basic commands and has excellent recall when off of his lead.

A very well-behaved dog, though he does still jump up to say hello and pulls on his lead. He travels well in a car – though he will whine until the journey really gets under way – and he can be left alone for up to 4 hours periods without any problems at all.
Rocky enjoys his comfort and nap times, preferring to sleep on sofas and human beds, dog beds will be completely ignored. He also enjoys his food, again preferring the human kind to dry or tinned dog food. He’s not much of a guard dog, preferring to invite people into his home. Loving, loyal and attentive he will make a very lucky new owner a fantastic companion.
Rocky is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
22Oct2008 | All-Breeds Rescue London | READ MOREZimmer – 3 year old male Manchester Terrier
Zimmer is a 3 year old Manchester Terrier male, who is looking for a new home due to his owners receiving complaints from the neighbours about his barking. Zimmer’s nature is typical of his breed, a big dog in a small body, feisty, brave and wants to be kept busy, a natural hunter care will need to be taken around small furries. Although quiet when left alone he is very vocal when excited with a typical high-pitched bark, for this reason he wouldn’t be suited to living in a flat.

He is reserved around strangers and prefers to keep his distance, visitors who take the time to get to know him will be warmly welcomed on subsequent visits. He gets along well with other dogs and has previously live with cats, although cats he’s not meet before he will chase with a vengeance, careful introductions will be necessary if he is to live with cats again. He gets along well with children of all ages.
Zimmer is looking for an active owner, someone who is fully prepared to take on a lively terrier and will be prepared to keep him both mentally and physically stimulated. He will require at least an hour of off-lead exercise in a park or open space every-day. He can be left alone without problems and could live with someone who works full-time, however it would be unfair to leave him alone all day without breaks – his new owners if working full-time will need to make arrangements with a dog walker or pet sitter.
Zimmer is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.

Bella is a 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier female, who was abandoned at a vets after being diagnosed with mammary tumours. There is a slight risk the cancer has spread to her lungs but at the moment her chest x-rays are showing up clear. Bella is a very timid and sweet natured girl. When she first arrived she was nervous of going out for walks, we believe she lead a very sheltered life in her previous home.

With encouragement she now enjoys her daily trips to the park, she currently wears a 100 foot long-line attached to her harness in-case she gets a scare and decides to flee. She tends to keep away from other dogs and will warn them off with air snaps and growling if they get too close.
Bella is well-behaved, responsive to commands, toilet-trained and can be left alone without problems. She loves her comfort and cuddles and tends to bond very strongly with one person. She is good with children and is tolerant of cats. She is very noise sensitive; fireworks and loud noises scare her and she doesn’t like people shouting. She will need a home with someone who is knowledgeable about dogs and will continue to work on building her confidence. Any children in the household will need to be at least 13 years of age and upwards.
Bella is looking for a perfect new home, a home where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her life.
