Selwyn – 1 1/2-2 year old male Setter cross Spaniel
Selwyn is a 1 1/2 – 2 year old Setter cross Spaniel who came in as a stray. He was desperately timid to start with and any time you raised your hand or went towards him suddenly, he would cower or try and run away. However he has got alot better, and will now come up to you for cuddles, wagging his tail. He still occasionally will back off if a little unsure, particularly if a man approachs him face on.
He has now put on some weight and is continuing to do so. He is good on the lead although he hasn’t been let off yet in case he gets spooked and runs away. This dear boy is good around other dogs, but is untested with cats. He would be best suited in a quiet experienced family with no young children. He responds very well to love and affection and will no doubt flourish in a secure loving enviroment. He is fully vaccinated, wormed and de-flead.

Misty is a 9 month old Irish Setter cross girl, she is about the size of a spaniel and has as much energy as one. She loves her walks, especially with other dogs, so she can play. However her recall leaves something to be desired so is best walked on a extension lead until she learns to come when called.
Needless to say she still is only a pup, and would benefit from training classes. She is good in the house and is very affectionate. She would be better suited to a family with slightly older children as she can be very boisterous and may well knock little ones over. She will make a lovely family pet. She is fully vaccinated, wormed and de-flead.

She has been brought up with children and would suit an active family. She hasn’t had much lead training so will need to learn some basic discipline and manners. However she is keen to learn and wants to please. She has been neutered, vaccinated, and wormed.

This is Oisin, a 2 year old male Collie cross Labrador. This lovely lad was surrendered due to no fault of his own. He came from a family environment and is a lovely family pet. He has been brought up with children and is very sociable with other dogs. He is good in the house and is housetrained. However he can’t understand why he is now in kennels and his little tail wags every time he sees you in the hope that he will be going home again. He is quite obedient but would benefit from additional training and is good on walks. Oisin is fully vaccinated, wormed and neutered.
Theo – 1 year old male Labrador Cross
This is Theo, a 1 year old Labrador cross boy, this marvellous boy is a real sweetie. He is the most gentle and loving baby and wants nothing more than to lick you and have lots of cuddles. He can be a little unsure of himself at times, and will crouch down if he is uncertain as to what he’s meant to be doing. He has the most soft and kind expression and this matches his character. He walks well on the lead but needs gentle encouragement to continue his training. He gets on well with other dogs and loves to play with them. Given time, love and a secure home this little cutie will blossom into the most wonderful companion any family could wish for. Theo is fully vaccinated, wormed and neutered.
Rasher – 2 year old male English Setter
This is Rasher, a very handsome English Setter who is 2 years old. He is a lovely gentle boy who loves cuddles and is very affectionate. He loves everybody and everything. He is good with other dogs and loves to play. He is especially good with all humans especially those that like to tickle his tummy. He needs lead training as he was originally allowed free reign to go hunting but didn’t cut the mustard with his old owner!
As a result he is very strong on the lead and needs to be taught gently but firmly that it would be good to leave ones shoulder in ones socket. However he is very biddable and keen to learn. Apart from being very handsome he is also very kind and will make any active family (without any little furry friends) a wonderful companion. Rasher is fully vaccinated, wormed and neutered.
