Gerry will not a demanding dog and it is so sad to think of these older guys spending so long in kennels when they have probably lived their whole lives in a home . . .

Max

Max is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged between 1-2 years old. He is a friendly but slightly nervous dog who hasn’t had the best start in life.

He came to us needing treatment for mange, which has now been sorted and if the new owner continues to use a treatment such as Stronghold, it should not prove a problem in the future.

Max is looking for a kind and steady new home where his confidence in humans can grow, because of his nervousness, he would be best suited to an ‘older’ home, so no young children. He is a friendly boy who deserves a second chance at happiness.

Lucy

Lucy is an older Staffordshire Bull Terrier female who is looking a stable, loving new home. When Lucy came into us, she was underweight and also had numerous mammery tumors, that have now been removed, and Lucy is now on the mend and looking for her new home.

It also seems that Lucy may be deaf, or at least very hard of hearing, so we are looking for a calm, warm home for her to be a loving and loyal companion. This poor girl has been through so much, can you offer her a home?

Cubby

Cubby is a young male Boxer cross, probably under 1 year old. Cubby came to us in a very poor state, being extremely underweight.

We have called him ‘Cubby’ after one of Peter Pans lost boys, as it seems that although his boy has grown his mind hasn’t. Cubby has had little or no training, and it looks doubtful as to if he has even been house-trained.

Despite all he has been through, Cubby is a very friendly, bouncy, loyal and loving young man who just needs a chance to settle into a loving home where he can receive the attention and training he deserves.

Can you offer this sad little lad a home?

Wally

Wally is a bouncy Irish Wolfhound cross aged approximately 1 years old who is looking for a fun and active new home.

Although Wally is not the full size of a Wolfhound, he will not be suitable for a home with small children because he is prone to jumping up. Sighthounds do not need copious amounts of exercise and are content to curl up in a comfy spot as long as they have been allowed a good leg stretch! Wally will be a fun addition to any home.
