Leo – 2 year old male Japanese Akita cross Mastiff
Leo is a 2 year old Japanese Akita cross Mastiff who arrived at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter when his owner could no longer look after him. Leo is very loving and loyal once he gets to know you but can be a little nervous with strangers.
Leo is a big strong boy and will need a kind yet firm owner who can help him build his confidence. Leo is good with female dogs but doesn’t like cats. He likes children but due to his size can be rehomed with older children only.

Leo has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed, flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.

This handsome chap is Cameron, a Rottweiler boy aged approximately 18 month old. He was found straying and brought to the Cheltenham Animal Shelter. Cameron is a lovely, playful boy and we are all very fond of him. Cameron needs an experienced owner as he can be a little dominant. He will definitely benefit from an active household with older teenagers or adults only. He gets along well with other dogs he meets.
Cameron is neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.

Say hello to handsome Noel, he is a 2 year old cross-breed who arrived at Cheltenham Animal Shelter after being found as a stray. He was quite scared when he arrived but now he knows he is safe he is feeling much better. He is a loving and affectionate boy just waiting to be cuddled and reassured. Do you have room in your heart for lovely Noel?

Chrissy – 2 year old female Cross-Breed
Chrissy is a very pretty and lively 2 year old cross-breed girl who arrived at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire after she was found straying. Chrissy has lots of energy and will certainly benefit from an active lifestyle. However, she soon settles down after a good walk! As Chrissy was a stray she can only be rehomed where children are at least 10 years old. Chrissy is friendly and affectionate and will make a wonderful companion.

This handsome boy is Clyde, a 5-6 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who arrived at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter as a stray. As we do not know his history he would suit a family where children are aged 10 years or older. Clyde is a lovely boy, always wagging his tail and pleased to see you. He will make a wonderful pet in the right home. Clyde has not been tested with cats but could live with another dog if they were introduced and got along well.

Saul – 3-4 year old male Rhodesian Ridgeback
This handsome boy is Saul – he is a 3-4 year old male Rhodesian Ridgeback who he was found straying in Gloucestershire so we know nothing about his past. If you are strong, active person who enjoys spending time in the great outdoors then Saul would be the perfect companion for you. Saul is confident, friendly and raring to go! As he was found as a stray, children in the home will need to be at least 10 years old.

Kizzy – 6 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
This beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl is Kizzy, she is a 6 year old girl. This beautiful girl was found abandoned in a lay-by before coming to Cheltenham Animal Shelter so we know nothing about her history. She really is very sweet natured and loves to cuddle and be made a fuss of. She also loves playing with her toys!

Kizzy would suit a home where someone is home most of the day. She is good with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. Kizzy would suit a home with children 10+ as she was a stray.
Kizzy will bring a lot of happiness to someone kind enough to offer her a new start. Kizzy has been neutered, microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date. She has also been wormed, flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.
Huska – 2 year old female Japanese Akita Cross
Huska is a lovely girl who arrived at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire as a stray back in September. She is incredibly affectionate and just loves to cuddle! She is OK with most dogs but needs to be tested with cats. Huska can be rehomed to a family where the children are 10 years +. Her new owners will need to be prepared to invest some time in further training.

Huska is currently taking part in the HALT project. She is having basic training by students under the guidance of a dog trainer and is responding incredibly well. Huska has been neutered, microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date. She has also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.

Jester is a big friendly 1 year old male white Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a tan eye patch – a really good looking boy currently living at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire. Jester loves his treats, is intelligent and responds well to training. He will give his paw in return for something nice to eat. Jester would suit a home with older children (10+) as we know nothing about his history.
He has not been tested with cats or other dogs. Jester is raring to go and cannot wait to meet his new family and live his life to the full! Please give this boy a second chance. Jester is currently taking part in the HALT project.

Poor Atlas is a 5 1/2 year old male Boxer cross who was found abandoned and tied to a fence.Poor Atlas was found abandoned and tied to a fence. He was underweight and covered in scratches and scars. Luckily someone rang the Dog Warden and Cheltenham Animal Shelter have been looking after him ever since.
He is a happy chap who is great company and young at heart. He would benefit from a little training and can only be rehomed where children are 10 years +. He gets along well with dogs in the paddock but has not been tested with cats.
Atlas looks a bit grumpy in his photo – in reality he is anything but! He is a cheerful boy with a waggy tail who is always pleased to see you at his kennel. Please please give this boy a second chance. He has now been with us since August.
