Hugo – 1 year old male Bull Mastiff
This big boy is Hugo, a 1 year old Bull Mastiff living at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire that comes with a bit of a story! Hugo had to be rescued from the River Avon by the Fire Brigade. Poor Hugo was treading water for 45 minutes before they fished him out and is very lucky to still be with us. Sadly his owner has not been to claim him.

Hugo will need to be rehomed to a calm, adult only home with experience of large breed dogs. His new owners will need to invest some time in training and teaching him not to jump up. With some guidance and love he really will make a wonderful pet.
Askit has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed, flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.

Vince is a 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is another dog who was brought into the shelter by his owners who could no longer afford to keep him. He is a friendly, playful Staffordshire Bull Terrier who walks well on the lead and travels well in the car. Most of all he loves human company and is really missing family life. Vince is good with children but is not so good with other dogs or cats.

Vince has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.
Parker – 5 year old male Terrier Cross
Parker is a lovely friendly little Terrier cross boy aged 5 years old who is very cute and very energetic! We have found him to be good with dogs and children, however, he cannot be rehomed with young children as we know nothing about his history. Parker has not been tested with cats.

Parker would love to find his forever home and is waiting very patiently in kennels. We are seeking an active home for Parker, preferably where someone is home for most of the day. His new owner should be willing to invest a little time into his training.
Parker has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.

Pandora originally arrived at the animal shelter as a stray and was rehomed to a family with another dog. Sadly the dog did not accept her and she is now back with us looking for another home. Pandora is a lovely natured and placid girl who gets along well with other dogs and older children. She adores human company and loves it when people come and say hello. She has not been tested with cats.

Pandora has been neutered, microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date. She has also been wormed, flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance.
Hatton – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Hatton by name, Hatton by nature! Hatton is a young, boisterous Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged 1 year old who is desperately seeking a loving home. He is an incredibly affectionate and easily excitable boy who loves to jump and play – though as you can see, he will sit nicely if bribed with a treat!

Hatton’s new owners should have experience with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed and be prepared to invest some time in his training. He would suit a family with older children as younger ones could get knocked over. If you come to visit Hatton please remember that he is in a kennel for most of the day and doesn’t get much of an opportunity to burn off his energy. With regular walks and some training he will settle down and make a wonderful addition to any family. Hatton is good with some dogs but does not like cats.
Hatton has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has also been wormed, flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance. If you do encounter any problems with your adoption we undertake to have Hatton back at any time.
Delilah – 3 year old female Rottweiler cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Delilah is beautiful 3 year old Rottweiler cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She arrived at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter as a stray so we know nothing about her past. She is an intelligent dog who shows great potential when it comes to training. She always comes says hello to anyone who visits her kennel and loves human company. She has not been tested with cats or other dogs and due to her size and lack of history would need to go to a home where children are 10+.

Traditionally we rehome our dogs within Gloucestershire and its surrounding areas but we will always consider further afield for the right owners. Delilah has been neutered, microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date. She also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance. If you do encounter any problems with your adoption we undertake to have Delilah back at any time.

Finn is a 4 year old male Border Collie who came to the Cheltenham Animal Shelter as he found living with a young child far too stressful. He is an intelligent, loyal and affectionate dog that will cuddle up to you through the kennel door when you come and visit him. Finn likes some dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in his home. He is not keen on cats. Finn loves any kind of ball or tug game and will thrive in the right environment. Please give him a second chance.

Hooch – 2-3 year old male American Bulldog cross Mastiff
Adorable Hooch is a 2-3 year old big American Bulldog cross Mastiff boy and a bit of a bruiser! Do not be fooled by his tough guy image though, he really is a very friendly boy who cannot wait to meet his new owner. Hooch is a very happy chap who will sit and give his paw for treats and just loves being cuddled.
We are looking for an experienced home due to Hooch’s size and strength. As he arrived at the Cheltenham Animal Shelter as a stray, Hooch would suit a home with adults only or adults and teenagers. Hooch would be better as an only dog and cannot live with cats.

Traditionally we rehome our dogs within Gloucestershire and its surrounding areas but we will always consider further afield for the right owners.
Hooch has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He also been wormed and flea treated and comes with 6 weeks free insurance. If you do encounter any problems with your adoption we undertake to have Hooch back at any time.
Nadia
Hi I’m Nadia. I am a very bouncy, lively Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I would need an experienced owner to help me learn. I am approximately 6 years old.

As I was a stray, I would need to live in a family with children aged over 10 years.

Pebbles the Greyhound came to the Shelter with Sprinter (also featured on DogsBlog.com) as they were seen being thrown from a moving car by a member of the public.
Pebbles and Sprinter would love a new home where they could enjoy long gentle walks and lots of love and affection, they would ideally be rehomed together.
