Junior – 10 month old male Jack Russell Terrier
Junior is a 10 month old male Jack Russell Terrier, very striking tri coloured, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Junior came to us as a 9 week old puppy and was rehomed to what we felt was a good home. He has recently come back into our care as he escaped and killed the next door neighbours rabbit. He is a TERRIER!?!
He loves people, very waggy and affectionate…. a real bundle of energy. Junior is good with other dogs, but we obviously couldnt rehome him with cats or small furries. He has lived with a child, but we would prefer older children, as he has been given little ground rules it would seem. So we are looking for an active experienced terrier home who can develop this young boy and give him a forever home. He can be left for up to 3/4hours but no longer and this needs to be worked on as we are seeing slight signs of separation anxiety with him.
We want to rehome him within our area, so a 20 mile radius of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. See www.cotswoldcaninerescue.co.uk for further details or email rehoming@cotswoldcaninerescue.co.uk

Maxie has come into the care of Cotswold Canine Rescue due to her owner having to go into a home. She had originally belonged to someone else as a youngster but has spent 4 years with her current owner before becoming homeless recently after a ”forever” foster home decided she was no longer wanted. No one was able to offer poor Maxie a home, so Cotswold Canine Rescue stepped in to help and arent we just so glad we did….

When Maxie came to us she was obviously very unhappy and confused, her eyes looked sore and her tail was permanently down… nothing could make that tail wag even slightly. After a thorough vet check it was decided to remove one of her eyes in which she had lost all her sight. It was touch and go for dear Maxie but the operation went well and after a huge dental as well, she came out of it all a far far happier dog. She is up to date with her vaccinations and is microchipped and currently in good health, although careful attention will need to be kept on her other eye. She is partially deaf too.
We are not totally sure on her age but it is thought to be around 10 years. She is fantastic with other dogs, love her routine and most definitely her walks. She is in a foster home currently and likes to potter in the garden and also join in country walks with her other canine friends. She is clean in the house and fine to be left for short periods..
So what type of home are we looking for? Maybe a fairly active older couple or person…. who enjoy a stroll, town or country Maxie doesnt mind… as long as she can take a stroll and have a good sniff. She enjoys routine and company so someone that is at home for most of the day would be ideal. No young grandchildren as although she would very likely be absolutely fine around young children, we dont feel it would be fair at her time of life….
We are looking for home within a 20mile radius of our rescue which is in Chipping Norton, West Oxfordshire…
No donation is required just a loving, secure home for however much time she has left…
(her pic was taken a few weeks after her eye op… so her hair is growing back nicely now!)
Can anyone help this dear dear old girl who really deserves a warm cosy home to spend the rest of her days…

Max is a beautiful 3 1/2 year old Collie and in our foster home in WEST OXFORDSHIRE. He is a very affectionate, loyal, loving boy and adores people. He loves tennis balls and playing with other dogs. He is very well behaved on the lead and enjoys going for long walks in the countryside. His recall is great and he likes to stay near to you. We are looking for an active, preferably experienced Collie home, with someone around for most of the day with a routine that Max can settle into, he can be left for up to 3 hours. He can sometimes be a little nervous in new situations and so would benefit from living with another confident dog but not essential. Older children but no cats as Max would chase them! Neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. We have had Max in our care for over five months now and he was saved from been pts. We are looking to rehome Max in Oxfordshire area, or on the borders of Warwickshire, Gloucestershire only.
