Marmite – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Marmite is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross male aged approximately 1 years old with the most wonderful russett colouring who desperately needs to find a new home. He is a friendly boy and very loving. He was picked up as a stray and never claimed. He is good with female dogs, although a tad dominant with other male dogs, this should improve after castration. Marmite could live with children.

Tyson – 9-10 month old male American Bulldog cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Tyson is an American Bulldog cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier male aged approximately 9-10 month old. He URGENTLY needs to find a new home, can you offer him a loving new home and place in your life? Tyson is great with people, excellent with other dogs and just a basic sweetie. He has got very sensitive skin and when he arrived with us (after being abandoned at a vets) he was absolutely covered from head to foot in Demodectic Mange. His skin was inflamed, itchy and bleeding.

cs_tyson.JPG

After a treatment with a spot-on mange treatment, plus a long course of antibiotics because of a skin infection, this problem cleared up but it is likely that he will need to stay on anti-hystamines for the rest of his life. He could live with older children, but is boisterous and would knock youngsters over.

A supply of anti-hystamines and some Malaseb shampoo will be provided to his placement. As you can see from his picture he still has a huge hair loss but we are now waiting for it to grow back! When he first arrived he was as bald as a babies bum and very scabby in places!

Booby – 10 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Whippet

Booby is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Whippet female aged approximately 10 months old who was found dumped by the local gypsy site after they had moved on. She URGENTLY needs to find a new home, can you offer her a loving new home and place in your life?

cs_booby1.JPG

She is currently under veterinary treatment. Booby has recently had a litter of pups and they have obviously been taken away from her when they were way too young. In arrival we noted that she had extremely milk-filled teats and after a couple of days these did start to inflame.

cs_booby2.JPG

Before her problems got any worse we got her to the vets where she had a blood test (in case she had low calcium problems) which came back clear and was put on a course of antibiotics because she has Mastitus and also some Galastop to dry up her milk quickly.

She has been put on specific food too because she is suffering from malnutrition. You wouldn’t think there was anything wrong with her! She is happy and affectionate and very playful, but I have no doubt that this would have changed quickly over the course of a few days. Booby is great with other dogs and extremely loving to people. She could easily live with children.

Beth – 1 1/2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Beth is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 1 1/2 years old. She is good with male dogs but intolerant of bitches. She URGENTLY needs to find a new home, can you offer her a loving new home and place in your life? She is very good with people and loves attention although she is very excitable.

cs_beth.JPG

She will need someone who will train her as she is as mad as a hatter sometimes…typical young Staffordshire Bull Terrier!
Beth will be better being rehomed with older children because of her boisterous nature.

Flower – 1 1/2 year old female English Bull Terrier

Flower is an approx 1 1/2 year old English Bull Terrier. She has now done her 7 days and has not been claimed. She URGENTLY needs to find a new home, can you offer her a loving new home and place in your life? Flower is fantastic with other dogs, great with people (although a tad shy on first meetings) and likes to rub her belly on the grass when it is sunny!

cs_flower.JPG

She would be fine with older children. She is well behaved, clean and quite quiet except when it is dinner time. Although it isn’t obvious from the picture above but she is quite scrawny – we are feeding her up!

Roxy – 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Roxy is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier female aged approximately 2 years old who urgently needs to find a new home. She has been in the care of the council for three weeks after she was found straying. The owner was found and wanted her back, but when she was returned the owner was not at home.

The dog warden was then told that he could not take her back that day as he was in a meeting. After much following up he just announced yesterday that he actually did not want Roxy afterall as he did not want to pay the fine (£24) as he could not afford it. Roxy has not had a very interesting life so far.

She has lived in a high rise flat and the man worked for 13 hours a day. Because of this Roxy needs to be retrained for house-training in the house as she as never had any proper puppy training.

cs_roxy.jpg

Roxy could live with older children but is quite excitable and may knock young kiddies over. Roxy is micro-chipped, but will need to be spayed and vaccinated.

Bailey – 5 month old male Boxer cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Bailey is a Boxer cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier male aged approximately 5 months old. He has not shown any aggression to any dog apart from Butch my American Bulldog, but I am told by Bailey that Butch started it! He need to find a home urgently, can you offer him a new home?

cs_bailey.JPG

He is such a gorgeous dog and this photograph does him no justice at all, but some dogs just aren’t photogenic! He is great with people, could live with older children (he is very bouncy) would mix well with other dogs and really needs somewhere to go now. He was picked up as a stray and never claimed. Penny – 6 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Penny is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged approximately 6 years old who urgently needs to find a new home – can you offer her a new home within the next few days? Penny has been kid tested and is great with children and very affectionate to adults. She is not good with other dogs and cannot live with cats.

Because of her dislike of other dogs she would need to be walked onlead. Penny has a typical Staffordshire Bull Terrier yowl when she wants attention and sounds like a pig when rolling in the sun!
