Francesca – 1 year old female Collie Cross

Francesca is a collie cross, approx 1 year old, a medium size girl, around 16kg. Pretty, sweet Francesca who was just abandoned would love a home where she could be shown life can be happy, she is shy until she knows you but is playful and confident with other dogs, she seems to be ok with cats.

Angel – 1 year old female Collie Cross

Angel is approx 1 year old, a collie cross, Angel by name and Angel by nature, a small medium size, around 13kg, a very very gentle and sweet girl, she is so desperate to be with people and to be loved. Angel is great with other dogs, cats and children, she will be a super pet.

Alf – 14 month old male Labrador Cross

Alf is around 14 months old, a larger size boy, but not huge. He is 26 inches to his shoulder, we think he is a Labrador with some Gt. Dane mixed in. I think he would like a home with another dog but he loves human company and is very eager to please.

Alf is a super dog, very well behaved, housetrained, good on and off lead, mixes well with people and other dogs big or small, he also takes no notice of his fosterers 4 cats. He is loving and friendly towards everything. Alf loves to run and play, he loves balls, frizbee and chunky sticks, he also loves to go in the ditches over the fields where we walk and to run through the woods.

Alf is good in the house, he lays on his lovely soft bed happily trying to get smooth peanut butter from his Kong toy. Alf was rescued from Greece a few weeks ago where he had nothing, his future was very bleak, he only knew a chain, outside in the cold and wet he was so sad, he shivered and cowered and wet himself with fear, he had no home comforts at all, just a wooden box to crawl into, this friendly boy has a disabled back leg although you would never know to see him run.

Alf has been seen and X rayed by a vet in the UK, the x rays show his knee was broken some months ago and received no treatment, this would have been so painful! his leg eventually healed on its own but the muscles have contracted and his leg is a little shorter now, as he doesnt use it all the time it has withered a little and when he sits he cant bend his knee. Alf is in no pain now and doesnt require any treatment or medication, an operation is not possible. The vet is willing to discuss Alfs condition if required and the X rays can be seen.

Alf acts and should be treated normally, he only needs to be kept slim which is easily achieved by good diet and excercise. first video shows Alf in Greece and then second in the UK.

Stevie – 3 year old male Lhasa Apso

Stevie is a lhaso apso and needs a special home, he is blind, this doesnt deter him at all though, he is around 3 years old, he mixes well and doesnt seem bothered by cats, he is a small size crossbreed male, he is desperate to escape the awful life he leads, he is a fun little dog who would make a super addition to a loving family where he could enjoy some home comforts and love.

Merry – 1-3 year old female Cross-Breed

Merry is quite timid, she is approx 23 inches to her shoulder, she mixes well and needs a patient home with another dog where she would become more confident with time and love, something she has never been shown. Merry is quite striking to look at with her lovely pale markings and her one blue eye.

update: Merry is now in foster care in the UK in the Surrey area, she is doing very well.
