Blade – 1-3 year old male Cross-Breed
He is such a lovely dog, he has met my children and was an absolute gent. We also had lots of visitors this afternoon and he met everyone wagging his tail and very laid back. He gets on well with my two dogs and also the others we met on a walk. After a very busy day he is now asleep on the floor looking very chilled out and relaxed. He would definitely make someone a lovely pet and a welcome member to any family.

Bear is an older Staffordshire Bull Terrier between 5-7 year old, he is castrated lives with 2 other female staffs at present an gets on with them fine but not good with some other dogs so needs to go into foster / forever home as only dog.

He is a very cuddly an a lap dog he is very good with kids and is very friendly !!! He is house trained an can be left up to 6 hours does not bark through the night lovely lovely dog.

Harley – 3 year old male Dogue de Bordeaux
Harley is a gorgeous Dogue de Bordeaux, nearly 3 years old (vaccinated and neutered), a gentle giant, who the family is reluctantly giving up due to work commitments.Harley is now in foster care and we think his carer is smitten with him. He reports that Harley hasn’t a bad bone in him, just one big, cuddly dog. He’s fine with children, he used to live with 6 of them, and we do leave him alone from time to time. With people he’s lovely, but with other dogs he is a handful as he is still very young he gets excited. Harley needs some training on the lead as he is a very strong dog.
Harley is doing well. A really lovely friendly dog. Loves his cuddles and playing with our bullmastiff. At home he’s a joy to have around. He will let you know when he needs to go outside and loves curling up at your feet in front of the TV. He is left for a few hours at a time with our dog and there have so far been no problems apart from the odd accident if left for extended periods. He sleeps in his basket all night with no problems.

He’s getting better and better on the lead, we’re almost there! He is still very lively when he sees new dogs when out. Once he has met the dog a few times he is very friendly. It’s just a case of introducing them in the correct manner. This excitement can be mistaken for aggression as all he wants to run over to the other dog and barks if he is not allowed. We still keep him on a 10m lunge line as other less experienced dogs owners don’t know the difference between an excited and an aggressive dog. Due to his size people do misjudge him.

Experience of owning large dogs is essential as he needs a strong leader.
He used to live with 6 children so is no trouble when my friends 3 year old comes round. He plays with Harley and he is very gentle. He is definitely not a fan of cats though. A lovely all round dog who just has a case of mistaken identity. With the right focus and environment he will make a very loyal companion.
Battie and Pretty – 4 year old female Yorkshire Terrier
Battie and Pretty are 4 year old Teacup Yorkshire Terrier sisters from a puppy farm and must not be parted. They are so very sweet and crave love, cuddles and attention. They are both nearly clean and have been going out for small walks. They will not be suitable to go with anyone thinking of starting a family or young children because of them being so very small. They will need a secure garden as they will get out of very small holes. They also should not be able to get access to the front door as when you open it they will both be out of it. They would be quite happy just to be house dogs. They could be rehomed with other small gentle dogs, however they are terrified of bigger ones They are OK to be left up to 3-4 hrs. They get on fine with the fosterers 11 other small dogs. If they didn’t have so many dogs they would adopt them them selves, they are so lovable. These dogs are in Foster Care in Southampton In The New Forest.
Dusty- 6 year old male Belgian Shepherd
This is Dusty a 6 years old (we think) Belgian Shepherd. Dusty’s owners had to give him up after returning to the UK from Spain because their new landlord in Bristol doesn’t allow pets. They didn’t want to leave him alone in Spain. He’s got his passport, he is vaccinated, everything is in order. If you can foster or adopt dusty, please get in touch urgently. Just look those lovely, appealing eyes !! As you can see he is an absolutely stunning boy with the most beautiful eyes. His family are very sad to see him go but they cannot take him with them. Dusty walks very nicely on the lead and was calm and responded well to us despite the trauma of turning up in a new country and in a strange place and being left with new people. He loves a cuddle and leans into you for a bit of affection. He has been used to an outdoors life living in Spain but is house trained and is very good with children. Dusty needs to be neutered and we want to get this done asap but he needs a home or foster home to go into straight after this has been done. A really special dog who deserves a lovely home.

Blitz – 10 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Blitz is a good natured 10 year old German Shepherd girl. She is good with children, dogs and cats, but very underweight and in need of some TLC. Her foster family tell us she is a fantastic family dog! She is great on the lead, fully house trained and not a greedy dog ! She is living in a busy household and has adapted well. The fosterer’s youngest is under a year old and their two girls are 9 and 11 years old, she loves them all. Poor Blitz had several tumours which have been removed on her back and paw. They feel lucky to have her in their family. They have also found she is good with dogs, not interested in their cat and has even had an encounter with the family rabbit ! She will bark at little dogs but shows no aggression. All in all a lovely dog and considering what she has been through a star !

Tyme and Tilly- 7 year and 8 month old female Jack Russell Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier cross Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Tyme is a 7 year old tricolour small Jack Russell Terrier bitch. She has come from a breeder in Wales with her daughter Tilly. Tyme is proving to be a lovely little girl. She is housetrained and loves people. She is great with the foster family’s teenagers and is full of affection. She is very attached to her daughter Tilly and they need a home together. Tyme is a typical Jack Russell, feisty with other small dogs but I am told she has previously got on well with larger dogs. She has been fine with dogs we have met out on walks. She walks well on the lead. She plays with Tilly and they keep each other happy.
Tyme and Tilly

Tilly is Tyme’s daughter, an eight month old Jack Russell cross Cavalier King Charles. She is very pretty and absolutely adorable. She is a typical puppy, full of fun and life. Everything is new to her, she has had to learn what doors are and how to go through them, and everything she meets is fun and an adventure. She isn’t scared as she has mum with her who is very laid back and shows her everything is fine. Her housetraining is coming on nicely and she is fairly alright as long as she is taken outside every couple of hours and is clean and dry at night, there is just the odd accident now when she is overexcited. She loves the outside world and it is really funny to see her grab a plastic bottle she finds out on a walk and carry it around for ages. She plays with toys and her mum and will chase a ball. She loves the fosterer’s teenagers and likes nothing better than a cuddle and fuss. Both these dogs are really great, they are both confident and love their walks and deserve a special home which will give them the love and time they need. Tilly would benefit from puppy training classes. She is quick to learn, very bright and eager to please. Is there anyone who could give these two sweet dogs a home together with the time and energy to devote to them?

Smokey is a 10 year old German Shepherd girl. She only looking for a new home because her owner has died. She is good with other dogs, housetrained. She lived with cats a few years ago, but may have forgotten she liked them by now. Smokey is very young and active for her age. If you could foster or adopt Smokey, please get in touch.

Billy – 12 month old male Terrier Cross
Billy, a Terrier cross, is approximately 12 months old and has travelled around in his short life. For all that he has endured he is a very loving little dog who is full of energy! Since he has lived with his foster family he has quickly picked up new commands and has enjoyed being a part of the family. He has shown no signs of aggression towards their two children who are 11 and 8 years old and to none of their friends. He likes to be heard when meeting new human and animal friends and has found it difficult at times to accept that everything is OK. Billy can be dominant with other dogs although he has been very respectful of their german shepherd…he’s not daft… Billy enjoys playing with their other dog although they have fallen out a few times! We think that Billy would love an activity such as mini agility as he is such a clever little dog and is very fast. Billy does still have some confidence issues to work through. He can be quite talkative and needs continued work on his recall… He is a terrier after all! We are looking for a home with other young, playful, balanced dogs for Billy. He is a lovely little chap.
