Max – 2 year old male Collie Cross

Max is a 2 year old handsome Collie cross currently in the care of the Dogs Trust in Glasgow. He is a fantastic boy who is very sweet and loving once he gets to know you but people must understand he also enjoys his own space. He is a clever collie, bright, intelligent and very playful.

He loves his toys and will show off all day playing fetch with you in the garden! He is looking for a quiet home with children 10 and over who will remember that he loves to lay back and relax in a comfy bed. Although he loves to snuggle up, Max is still a very active dog and his new home must understand that collies require a lot of exercise and playtime and are very focused dogs who can get easily bored! But with walks, playtime and plenty of love,  Max will flourish into a fantastic, content dog and a wonderful companion.

Laddy and Croy – 2 and 4 year old male Cross-Breed and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Laddy a 2 year old cross-breed (pictured on the left) and Croy a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross are a stunning duo looking for a home with enough love in their hearts for two handsome chaps! They are best friends and rely on each other for comfort and support in all they do. They eat, sleep, play and cuddle up together and are perfect companions. Laddy is a cheeky young chap and is always happy to give big kisses and handsome Croy loves jumping up for a cuddle with his owners. The most important thing for Laddy and Croy is to find a home to share out the love to them both! For the fuss and attention you show them, they’ll shower you with kisses in return!

Although the idea of taking on two dogs can be a little overwhelming for people to consider, to give a home to two dogs is a special gift for them and something they will always be grateful for. They would love a home with a garden where they can safely play together running around with their balls and plastic bottles and spending afternoons snoozing in the sun. They are both happy in the car and will settle on journeys and would be fine to live with cats.

They are happy resting in the house alone for short periods whilst you are out and are both perfectly housetrained. But their favourite thing to do is jump up and snuggle with you on the couch with their heads on your knee. How could you resist a cuddle from these two! If you feel you have the room in both your heart and your home for Laddy and Croy please call Dogs Trust.

Archie – 1 year old male Greyhound

Here’s Archie, he’s a big Greyhound boy aged 1 years old with a big heart, just look at happy he is! He loves everything in life and has a wonderful character and a fantastic nature. Our gorgeous boy is still young and due to a lack of confidence building as a youngster he has found himself in rescue in need of a loving home. He’s so playful and will need a home with a secure garden so he can stretch those long legs to his hearts content and chase after his toys! The fluffier the toys the better of course!

Archie is looking for a home that has the time and dedication to commit to his on-going training. He lacks confidence when left alone in the house and will need patient owners to help reassure him and build up this confidence over time. Yet people must remember he is still growing and learning and a puppy at heart, and simply needs someone to help guide him into becoming a happy and content young dog. Archie adores the company of other dogs and would love to live with another confident dog that can help reassure him. He enjoys the company of his kennel mate and is happy to snuggle with her on their comfy duvet. Another home comfort he loves is the couch where he’ll hop up for a cuddle with you and watch the TV with you as well! He’s a really loving boy who gets super excited to meet new people out on walks and will jump up to greet visitors that come to the house. If you feel bouncy Archie could be the perfect companion for your family, please all Dogs Trust Glasgow.

Rico – 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Rico is a gorgeous 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross in the care for the Dogs Trust in Glasgow who is looking for a home who can keep up with his fast pace at life! He is a happy, bouncy boy who is super friendly and loves to meet new friends when he is out on his walks. He loves to play with his kennel mate and they will happily roll about playing all day long.

As Rico is still a pup it is important that he finds a home with a love for enjoying the great outdoors as he does, and can keep up with him on long walks and big adventures! He is full of fun and lives life to the max! Rico is a wonderful dog and is still a big pup so is in need of some help with his further training. Being young, he is still very excitable and can be over the top at times, but with further training and dedication from his new owners he will quickly learn and pick up new things. Rico is housetrained but can worry when he is left in the house alone, so will need committed owners who can help build up his confidence over time in this area. He can also lack confidence when he meets new dogs, so lots more socialisation and encouragement to meet dogs will benefit Rico greatly. He loves to run around the garden playing with his toys and have some relax time chewing on a bone. He is an active boy but still loves to relax and his new owners will have to understand that adapting back into a home environment after spending time in kennels can be challenging for a dog, and they must be patient with him during this settling in time. Rico is very much a typical Staffordshire bull terrier he is full of fun, bouncy, happy and in need of an equally fun-loving home!
