Samuel – 2 year old male Miniature Dachshund
This is Samuel and he is a 18 month old Long-haired Miniature Dachshund that is looking for a very experienced home. Samuel came to us as a stray. He has a few possession issues that new owners will need to work on with he help of our behaviourist. Samuel loves going out for walks and will need owners that enjoy the same.

Samuel is looking for people that have had dogs with possession problems before, so they will know how bad it can get! He is looking for a home that will treat him like a dog and not spoil him as this will only worsen his problems. New owners will need to be committed to his on-going training as it will never be fixed it will only be controlled, so it is a lifetime commitment.
Samuel has potential to be a lovely companion in the right committed home, if you are interested then please ask to talk to the behaviourist at the centre.
Samuel is fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered, please ask about him today if you think you are suitable.

Freya is a 3 year old Akita Cross. She is looking for a home with owners experienced with various breeds of dogs, preferably the Akita breed. She’s a nice girl who doesn’t realise her own strength! She would need to be the only dog in the home. She loves her toys and can become quite focused on them, so a toybox would be ideal and she must learn to trade one for another. She could live with teenagers aged 14 or older. She does know how to sit and is an intelligent girl who could learn lots more. It’s important that she goes to a home with people who are willing to carry on her training.

Cher – 3 year old female Dobermann
Introducing Cher, she’s a 3 year old Dobermann who came into kennels as a stray. She is looking for a home with owners who have had experience of the breed. A single person home would be the best as she has a fear of new people and will need ongoing training with this. Any prospective owners will need to be committed to her and to continue with any training programme. Cher is a lovely girl who just needs the time to learn to trust people. She would need a number of visits before she could go to her new home and would need to be the only dog in the home. No children please.

Malachi – 7 year old male Labrador Cross
This is Malachi, he’s a 7 year old Labrador Cross who came into kennels along with 12 other dogs. He’s spent most his life outdoors so will need time to get used to living in a home. Malachi loves being outdoors mixing with other dogs, this is when he’s at his most confident. He’s a typical lab who loves his food, so use tasty, smelly treats for building a bond and training. Malachi would benefit from a calm home with older children, if any. New owners will need to be patient with him and to not expect too much too soon. He would also benefit from going to live with another confident dog who can show him the way! He really is a lovely boy with a nice nature who deserves a nice home.

Woody – 2 year old male Terrier Cross

Shyla is looking for a home that will keep her entertained 24/7 as she has huge amounts of energy and wants to learn lots of things. Sadly Shyla was with us as a pup and rehomed, and had to be returned due to a change of circumstances. She finds kennel life very stressful and needs a home ASAP – the right home! 22Feb2010 | Dogs Trust West London | READ MORESid – 3 year old male Border Collie
Sid is a 3 year old Border Collie that finds the world a scary place! Sid is fairly confident with people, it is new places he finds scary. He will need a quiet confident home that will be able to bring him out of himself and let him settle in at his pace. Sid needs to live with another confident dog that will show him the reins, he does prefer the ladies as he likes to follow them around! (He shares a kennel with Myer and loves her) Once his confidence has been built up he will be an active collie that will need lots of exercise and stimulation. Sid is quite a cuddly boy that looks for reassurance off of people, but new owners shouldn’t baby him as he will never get his confidence!
Sid is looking for people that already have a dog in the home that can give him confidence, and a quiet one, with children 12 and upwards as he is scared by full on handling, but once confident he would love to play with them.
Sid is neutered, fully vaccinated and neutered. Please consider him and get in touch today!

Myer is ideally looking for people that have had Staff’s before as she is a typical Staffi bitch.

22Feb2010 | Dogs Trust West London | READ MOREAdelaide – 6 year old female Corgi Cross
Adelaide is a 6 year old Corgi crossbreed. She came to kennels as her elderly owner could no longer look after her. Adelaide has had issues around food and has been on a training programme. She has done well and is so much better. Any new owners would need to continue with the programme so that she doesn’t go back to her old ways!
She would need to be the only dog in the home as she’s not keen on sharing her space with others, she’s also not keen on other animals. Adelaide would need owners who are familiar with dogs who’ve had behavioural issues and who understand her needs. She is a sweet dog but she will need time to settle, it’s important she’s not forced to do anything that she’s not comfortable with. Adelaide would benefit from a quiet, adult-only household. In the right home she’ll make a loving companion!
