Shari – 1 1/2 year old female Labrador Cross

Shari is a 1 1/2 year old female Labrador cross. She is initially very nervous in new situations; however once she has got to know and trust you she is very affectionate and loyal. She is also quite a strong minded dog and as a result will suit an experienced owner or she may try and take over once she has settled in the home.

She gets on with other dogs but she does like to be the centre of attention and may be best suited as the only dog. She has had some basic training and she likes to play ball. She’ll suit an experienced owner and an adult only home. She will need further socialising to increase her confidence.

Luke – 15 year old male English Cocker Spaniel

Luke is a 15 year old male English Cocker Spaniel. He is a lovely old man who found himself in our care after his owner died and the rest of the family couldn’t give him the attention that he needed. He loves company and his doggy friends. He currently lives with two Yorkies at the centre. Luke just likes to plod around and still enjoys his walks.

Luke is looking for a loving home to spend the rest of his days. He still has a lot to give a new owner. He can be left for a few hours but he gets a little distressed if left any longer and he can’t hold himself as long anymore.  Could you provide a nice warm bed and some company for this little old man?

Matthew – 5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Hi, I am the lovely Matthew, I am a 5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. I am really struggling in kennels and would love a nice home to go to. I have lots of potential and could be a wonderful new addition to your family if I was given the chance.

I can live with children who are 14 years old and I need understanding patient owners who can offer me a stable home environment. I can live with another dog and I am not sure how I would act around a cat so I would need to be tested – please pick me!

Tango

Tango is a 6 year old tan medium sized cross-breed female. She loves food and treats. Enjoys walks, is a favourite with volunteer dog walkers. She travels well in the car. She loves to play with her ball. Also likes the company of other dogs. She is house-trained and likes to be groomed. Tango does not like cats! She is looking for an active, experienced owner. Not first time dog owner.
