For further details regarding dogs available for adoption from Dorset Animal Workers Group (DAWG) please telephone Helen on 01202 380467 or e-mail julialiddle@hotmail.com. Please note, Dorset Animal Workers Group (DAWG), located in Poole, Dorset, will only re-home in the South so we can do homechecks and follow up checks and so puppies are close to our vets so we can get them neutered when they come of age, around 10 months. Donation is £75 All dogs and puppies are fully vaccinated, neutered (or will be if they are puppies, by our vet when come of age), Frontlined and wormed. All our dogs are micro-chipped which remain registered to the rescue just in case anything should happen to them. All homes will be homechecked.
Ollie - 5 month old male Cross-Breed
Ollie is a special little cross-breed pup aged approximately 5 months old. He came to the rescue badly abused not sure what had happened to him but whatever it was it wasn’t good. His foster Mum thinks he is a good old Heinz 57 although he has the most unusual tail she has ever seen on a dog it has a perfect black zig zag down it!
He was absolutely terrified of anything and everything. He has made massive progress in the last few weeks. They couldn’t walk him but can now walk him really well on the lead although they do think it will be a long time until he will be able to go off.
He will not be able to be up totally for re-homing for a month or so yet but would like to list him now so any one wanting to give him a home could come and visit him and get to know him. It takes him a while to trust but when he does he is so loving. He is 100% clean in the house. He can still be extremely nervous although this is improving every day.

This is Sammy he is a lovely gentle natured 14 week old Collie cross. He came to us with a broken front and back leg and even though this has healed everybody loves him but people are worried as he has had 2 broken legs even though they are all better now. Can you offer this lovely boy a second chance and new home?
Alfie - 1 year old male Border Collie
Alfie is a 1 year old Border Collie who is deaf. We homed him as a puppy but unfortunately due to housing problems he is now needing to be rehomed again. Alfie has always had the company of another dog and we would like a home where he will have doggy company.
He is good with children. Alfie is trained and knows sign language, having a deaf dog is not as hard as generally thought. Alfie goes off the lead and comes back to signs. He is an affectionate and sweet tempered boy.
