Cassy – 9 year old female American Bulldog
Hello my name is Cassy , I’m an American Bulldog and I am looking for a retirement home where I can live out the rest of my life in the comfort and warmth of a loving home , I’ve had to come back to the kennels through no fault of my own and I need to find a new owner.
I am around 9 years old and I have arthritus in my legs which makes it hard for me to go on long walks but that doesn’t mean I have no energy for some short excursions as I can still manage them.

I am a loving old bird and like nothing more than a nice rub and tickle, I will even put up with the volunteers headlock kissing attacks as it just shows me how much they loves me.
I’m slightly overweight but i can lose it honest !! My diet just needs sticking to and as long as I have my daily dose of Glucosamine and Cod liver oil for my joints I will be fine.
Would you please consider giving me a place to live in comfort for the rest of my days. I am ok with older children (due to my size i might knock smaller ones over). Basically I’m a big chunk of doggy love and I need a permanent foster home if you have a space for me please call the shelter.

Tasmin is a lovely 5 year old Staffy girl, who has found herself in rescue. She is a very typical Staffy. When Tasmin came to us she had a growth on her backend that needed removing, so this has been done. To look at her, you would have thought that she was male. She is all better now and just waiting for someone to give her the forever home she needs.

Maisie – 2 year old female Mastif Cross
A very sweet and beautiful mastiff cross, Maisie is approximately 2 years old and has been with us since March 2010. She is very gentle and good with kids. She doesn’t like livestock and horses particularly trigger her chase instinct so as long as you don’t keep horses or livestock then she is perfect!

Gogo – 2 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Gogo is approximately 2 year old female Jack Russell Terrier . She would need to go into a home with older children a typical young terrier full of energy will make someone a lovely companion. Gogo would also need to be the only dog.

Polly – 3 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Polly is a very tiny (approx 6″ high), approximately 3 years old Jack Russell. A really sweet little girl, who came from the pound, as her time was up. When she first arrived, she was very scared and nervous and gave us a little growl, but within a couple of minutes reassuring her, she was soon on my lap and wagging her tail.

She is very underweight, so we are building her up, with extra meals and I am sure she will gain weight in no time.

This is Tex, he is a Rottweiler Cross and is around 2-3 years old. We don’t have much information on this big lad as he was taken from the pound before he was due to be put to sleep. Tex is very good to walk and doesn’t pull, he has loads of energy and will really enjoy going for long walks, he also likes playing with his toys especially his toy boot.

He is a bit wary of some men so he may have been mistreated in the past by a man but with a bit of work he will trust you.
He will have to be rehomed without any other dogs as he shows signs of dog aggression.
Tuck – 3 year old male Collie Cross
Tuck is a beautiful Collie Cross who has spent almost all his life in our kennels. He is such a clever and friendly boy who really does deserve a forever home. Brook needs to be the only pet. Brook can not live with children and if children come to visit he should be kept seperate as they make him nervous. We all love Tuck and we do not understand why he is still with us, he is house trained, can be left for short periods on his own, he knows basic commands and is not descructive in the home.

Are you active? Have no other pets? No children? Then Tuck is the one for you, come and visit him now and prepare to fall in love.
