Keely – 2 year old female Lurcher
My name is Keely and I am a 2 year old Lurcher. I am a timid dog but love the company of people and I am affectionate. I can sit, give both paws and can lie down. I love learning and would benefit from attending training classes, to help improve my socialising skills with people and other dogs. I am looking for an active but quiet home where I can get the exercise and training I need. I am looking for a home without other dogs and with children over 16.
Hicksy – 3 year old male German Shepherd cross Akita
My name is Hicksy and I am a 3 year old German Shepherd cross Akita. I am a sweet boy but can be shy initially. I have been well behaved with all the dogs I have met here at Gables Farm but was unsure about some male dogs in my previous home. I have basic training which will need to be developed. I am looking for experienced owners who can give me plenty of exercise and training. I am a very gentle and affectionate dog and will make a lovely pet to own. I am looking for a home without other dogs and with children over 16.
Floss – 2 year old female English Bull Terrier Cross
My name is Floss and I am a 2 year old English Bull Terrier Cross. I am a lovely, sweet girl who loves to sit on laps for cuddles. I am timid of other dogs so would be better suited as the only dog in a home. I have had basic training but would benefit from further lead training and socialising with other dogs. I have a lovely, kind nature and will make a rewarding pet to own. I am suitable to live with children over 6.
Fergus – 10 month old male Border Collie
My name is Fergus and I am a 10 month old Border Collie. I am almost blind and need a very special home. I am extremely friendly and affectionate and ask constantly for cuddles and reassurance. I walk well on the lead but do bump into things a lot! I can become frightened of noises which I cannot understand. I am wary of other dogs because I cannot see them and I am really looking for a home where I will be the only pet.
I need experienced, patient owners who have lots of time and energy as I am a lively boy! I am lots of fun and will make a wonderful pet to own. I am suitable to live with children over 16.

Vinnie – 6 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Hello, I’m Vinnie the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I’m 6 year old. I am a very friendly, lively boy who is obsessed with toys especially footballs. I am uncomfortable around other dogs so care will need to be taken when out in public areas. I have had basic training and I am fully housetrained. I am also crate trained. I am looking for experienced owners who have the time to put into training me and keeping me safe. I will make a lovely dog to own. I am suitable to live with children over 12.
Jimi – 3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Hello, I’m Jimi the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I’m 3 year old. I love food and I am willing to learn. I can sit, give both paws and beg. I love being with people and enjoy cuddles. I like most toys and will play by myself but I might chew my toys so care will need to be taken. i will need an active home and time to further my training. I will be a great dog to own. I am suitable to live with children over 10.
Danny Boy – 7 year old male Collie Cross
Hello, I’m Danny Boy the Collie Cross and I’m 7 year old. I am a laid back dog and I like cuddles. I am clean in the house and enjoy walks. I am very sweet natured but I am unsure of young children. I will need regular long walks and time to develop my socialising skills. I am suitable to live with children over 16.
Star – 6 year old male Greyhound
Hello, I’m Star the male Greyhound and I’m 6 year old. I am a lively boy who loves to chase toys. I must always wear a muzzle in public due to being an ex racer. I am timid of other dogs except greyhounds so would be better suited as an only dog.
I will make a rewarding companion to own. I am suitable to live with children over 14.
