Sally – 6 1/2 year old female Collie Cross
Hello, I’m Sally the Collie Cross and I’m 6½ year old. I am an intelligent dog and I learn quickly. I am not keen on being left alone so will need a home where people are home most of the day. I would need to be the only dog as I am uncomfortable around other dogs. I am a nice dog who with further training will be a rewarding dog to own. I am suitable to live with children over 14.
Wanda – 7 year old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russell Terrier
Hello, I’m Wanda the Chihuahua cross Jack Russell Terrier and I’m 7 year old. I am a confident, bouncy energetic dog. As I am crossed with a Jack Russell, I have all the typical terrier traits! I will need understanding owners. I will need to be the only dog in the home as I am uncomfortable around other dogs.
I love to play with toys and in the right home will make a fun pet to own. I am looking for an adult only home.

Hello, I’m Jackson the Dalmatian and I’m 8 year old. I am a sweet dog. I was rescued from a field. I have been used to living outside with a pack of dogs so will need further training and socialising to get used to living in a home environment. I need to be the only pet in the household as I get excitable with other dogs around.
I have a great temperament and have most characteristics of a typical Dalmatian so will need patient owners. I am looking for a home with children over 14.

Baz is a 3 year old Greyhound. He likes the company of people and has some basic training. He likes most food and is keen to learn. He can be strong on the lead and gets excited when he sees another dog. In the right home Baz will be a great dog to own. He is suitable to live with children over 8.
Benji – 5 year old male Collie Cross
Benji is a 5 year old Collie cross. He is a very excitable, friendly dog who loves to play with toys and other dogs. He did not like to be left in the kennel when he first came to gables but he has improved greatly. He does not like being left in the home and will chew through doors and may toilet in the house. He is a sweet dog but requires a lot of training and patience to try and improve his anxiety when being left. He has started agility training and is showing good progress, he enjoys agility and has potential as an agility dog. Given time and dedicated training he will a rewarding dog to own. He loves people and attention and is very affectionate. He is looking for a home with adults only.
Red – 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier
Red is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier. He is a very lively energetic dog who loves to be with people. He has developed a few behaviour problems in his last home of 4 months and will need very understanding, experienced owners who are prepared to work with him. He will jump up when people try to leave the house and does not like other dogs. He is possessive over food and will take a lot of time and training to improve his behaviour. Despite his problems Red does has a lovely character and has the potential to make a fun pet to own. He is looking for a home with adults only.
Lottie – 18 month old female Rottweiler
Lottie is an 18 month old Rottweiler. She is a fantastic fun dog but she can be timid in new surroundings. She is very lively and strong and will need experienced owners who are prepared to work on training and socialising her.
Given time and patience Lottie will make a fantastic pet to own. She is looking for a home with children over 10.

Pongo is a 7 year old Dalmatian. He is a timid dog who was rescued from a field in Cornwall. He has been used to living outside with a pack of 40+ dogs so will need a lot of training and socialising to get him used to living in a home environment.
He has a very sweet nature but does get frightened easily so will need experienced owners who have the time and patience to dedicate to him. He is looking for a home with children over 12.

Lee is a 20 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross British Bulldog. He is a very affectionate once he knows you. He has been mistreated and as a result he is very nervous of new people and situations.
He will need kind patient owners who are prepared to continue his training and socialising with other dogs. He is suitable to live with children over 14.

Toby is an 8 year old Collie. He had a very strong bond with his previous owner but can be unpredictable in new situations and with people he does not know.
He requires muzzling for the vet and grooming. He will need very experienced, patient owners who are prepared to give him the time and stability he needs. Once Toby has settled, he should make a loyal pet to own. He is suitable to live with children over 16.
