Apollo – 5 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Apollo is in Ireland awaiting to come to the UK, we need a foster home or permanent home before he can travel. This is what we have on Apollo from his owner……Apollo is a male, neutered lad who is 5 years old. His teeth have recently been descaled. He is a beautiful temperament in spite of his 5 years of abuse in Tralee. The dog is all heart. He needs some work on his toilet training, but he is very intelligent so that shouldn’t be a big problem. He has lots of energy but isn’t hyper. In ways he is like a big puppy discovering everything after his miserable start in life. He is very good with other dogs, he’s incerdibly patient with my annoying collies! He was badly neglected but is starting to put on weight and get a good coat now.

If I didn’t have my own crew and a baby on the way I would keep him. I suppose the sooner he goes the better as I know a move would be difficult for him. God forbid that he didn’t settle in UK or seemed to be pining, I would take him backand managesomehow. He’s a stunning dog. I know they all are, but he is special! He’s great on the lead and in public places and at the vets. Don’t have direct experience of him with kids, but very good when being walked past them on the beach. He also dosen’t take to much notice of my cats.

Duke is a long coated GSD who came from the pound and was due to be euthanised. Duke is a friendly boy, we’re not sure of his age but he does have a grey muzzle and we think he’s anything from 5-6 years old. This boy has been through a lot and we would dearly love to get him into a foster or permanent home a.s.a.p We do not know if Duke has lived with children so would therefore only rehome with much older children or to an adult family home. The kennel staff report that he is a friendly, quiet boy and has been ok with other dogs. Can you give Duke a forever home?
Tim – 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Tim is in a foster home and is gradually making himself at home. Tim is a young boy approximately 1 year old who came from the dog pound when he was found as a stray, He is starting to relax and let people stroke him, he has started going down to the farm where his foster mum goes on a daily basis and is ok with the horses. He chases the rabbits, and we are not quite sure about cats, so Tim needs a home without small furries. Tim will make someone a lovely family pet once he regains his confidence, he is a very loving chap.
Wade – 2-3 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Wade came from the pound in Ireland and is currently in boarding kennels in Fareham, Hampshire. Wade is around 2-3 years old and a very handsome chap, with big brown soulful eyes. Wade is a friendly lad, when he was in the vets he was good with other dogs and enjoyed everyone stroking him. His only little grumble was when the vet lifted his tail,. We would like to rehome Wade to a GSD experienced home, either in an adult only home or with older children, purely because as a dog from the pound we do not know if he has lived with young children. He would certainly be able to live with another dog.

Diesel – 18 month old male German Shepherd Dog
Diesel is an 18 month old short coated GSD, looking for a new home due to family break up. Diesel is a sable coloured Shep, typical of an 18 month old with bundles of energy, inquisitive with lots of affection. Diesel hasn’t lived with children, but there are children living in the neighbours home, one aged 7 years who comes into play with Diesel occassionally who he gets on great with. Diesel is good with dogs he currently lives with a labrador cross Collie dog. Diesel is a very friendly lad has never shown any signs of aggression, either with people, toys or food.
Poppy – 8 year old female German Shepherd Dog
Poppy is a lovely 8 year old semi coated black GSD. Poppy is looking for a new home because her owners were moving to accommodation that didn’t allow pets. Poppy had been in her home since she was 8 weeks old. Poppy is a lovely friendly girl, she is good with people and loves children, she has lived with children from age 1 to 14 years old.
Poppy is good with other dogs, she lived with a small Cavalier Kings Charles dog, in her current foster home she is living with 2 GSD’s and two cats, which she takes no notice of. Poppy has some problems with her eyes and we have been told that she is half blind, but this does not detract from her enjoying life. All in all Poppy is a very loving dog who would make a great addition to any family.

Dazzler is a stunning 2 year old long coated white GSD. Dazzler is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, flead and wormed. Dazzler previously came from the pound and was rehomed by us. Unfortunately his owners were quite inexperienced and Dazzler began lunging at other dogs when out on his lead.
Dazzler has been back with us for quite a time now and we have walked him with other dogs and have had no problems with him. He is a suer friendly lad and hates being in the kennels, he really does love human company. We would like Dazzler to go to a GSD experienced home, one that understands GSD’s and there ways. Probably an adult only home or with older children/teenagers although he has lived with children. Dazzler would love his forever home, can you help him please.

Heidi was 2 years old in July. Heidi was due to be pts until we stepped in to save her. Heidi came in to rescue as a very stressed out dog, who didn’t know what her role was meant to be. Heidi has spent the last few weeks in a rehab kennel where she is doing remarkably well.

Heidi would like a home, either adult or older children, also with another laid back dog. She has previously lived with another dog and we believe that this would be a benefit to her. Heidi loves her toys, especilly her football. Please contact us for more details on Heidi..

Maddison is a 4 year old entire white GSD, who is looking for a new home as her owners are moving abroad and cannot take Maddison with them. Maddison has been with her owners since she was a pup and its going to be heartbreaking for them to have to let there “girl” go. Maddison needs to be in a new home be middle of June. Maddison initially barked at our assessors when we went in to her home, but once fed some treats she did calm down.
Maddison has never lived with children or really been socialised with other dogs, when she is out she does bark and sometimes shakes. She has never bitten or lunged for another dog or a person. Maddison has not been treated like a dog, more of a human and we feel that she could make a great dog with a little training. Her commands are good and her recall is excellent, she just needs more direction with the socialisation side of things. Please contact us if you could offer Maddison a home, probably without other dogs or cats, or may be a laid back other dog.
