Mouse – 7 month old female German Shepherd cross Utonagan
Mouse is a 7 month old German Shepherd cross Utonagan puppie. Her mum was a GSD and dad the Utonagan. She is a lovely dog and after initial nerves comes round and enjoys a fuss and a cuddle. She has not been socialised much so loud noises or new things worry her and she seeks reassurance at the moment from her sister Zena.
She will start her vaccinations course and be wormed and de-flead shortly. She will need socialisation generally and with dogs. She is not good with cats or small furries. She is a lovely dog who will be quick to learn new things and will enjoy training to learn commands. Currently recall is non existant so will need some work before allowing her to be let off lead.
We would like to rehome her with a confident well behaved dog who can help guide her.

Polar is a 1 year old white German Shepherd Dog. He was saved from being put to sleep in a pound in Ireland and sent to us for rehoming. He is a lovely friendly boy and is good with dogs and people. Due to his size and age we will not rehome him to a home where there are children under the age of 8 years of age.
He will be neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed and deflead before being rehomed. Polar will need some training as he does not know commands well but will be quick to learn.

Dave is an 11 week old German Shepherd boy, he’s a typical pup of his age and has come into rescue through no fault of his own ad is now looking for a new home. He is a lovely boy and loves people and other dogs. He is also young enough to learn to live with cats.
He has had his 1st vaccination and health check (2nd due in 2-3 weeks) and has been wormed and deflead. As part of an adoption agreement Dave will need to attend puppy socialisation classes and training and be neutered when old enough.
1Nov2010 | GSD Lifeline | READ MOREReuben – 8 year old male Rottweiler cross Dobermann
Reuben is a Rottweiler cross Dobermann boy, he looks and sometimes behaves like a pup but he is a very healthy 8 years old. We were asked to help Reuben as he was at risk of PTS as his owners were moving and could not find anyone to take him in after trying lots of different rescues. All the hard work is done, he is house trained, sits on command, walks superbly on the lead and his recall is good especially if you have a juicy treat.
He is also gorgeous, sweet, gentle and cuddly and good with other dogs. He can be protective of his food and slightly food obsessive this is because he has spent a long time being hungry so simply doesn’t want you to take it away. He is very gentle when taking a treat though its just when he is in the middle of a meal that he becomes grumpy.
He is Rottweiler crossed with Doberman and in no way aggressive though obviously needs to be with someone who is used to large breeds. He is a gentle giant with the paws of a bear and has a proven history with children of all ages though because of his size I would recommend children older than 7. We would not recommend him being left for more than 4 hours a day though he has been left for longer.
He is micro chipped and is neutered, very fit and healthy and his inoculations will be up to date. Despite his age he still needs regular walks and exercise then a nice warm place to sleep.
He really is an absolute stunner. He is in foster in Oxfordshire.

Storm is a 1 year old German Shepherd boy who has come into rescue through no fault of his own. He is a friendly boy and gets on well with dogs and people however is not suitable for under 10′s as he is nervous of small children. He chases cats if he can. Storm is house trained and has got good recall. Has had some training – knows sit, down, and will also wait to eat till he is told he can.
He likes to be groomed and has had a pampering session at the groomers including the removal of some matts. Before being rehomed he will be fully vaccinated and neutered and micro-chipped too.

Larka is a 2 year old spayed and vaccinated Northern Inuit (she is due her booster now however) who needs a new home sadly due to her owner suffering badly from M.E. She has always been regularly wormed and de-flead. She is a lovely girl, great with other dogs and people and ok with a friends 5 yr old daughter. She does however have a high prey drive so would not be suitable with cats or other small pets.

She would benifit from a large gardened home and people who have experience with the breed or similar large breeds. She is mostly well trained however her recall needs work as she can be stubborn at times when off lead.
Larka is great on the lead, doesnt pull very much at all and is completely house trained but can be destructive when bored so crating or a space where she cannot get destructive may be better for her or with a family that are always in.

Echo is a good looking 14 month old white German Shepherd Dog. He is about 35kg. He needs an experienced owner with plenty of time who can ensure he has the best possible future. Experience with GSDs is paramount as is experience with training and nervousness.
He has fear based aggression towards strangers but is lovely when he calms down and gets used to the person. He barks at the door when people come near but will clam down once he knows the person.
Echo can sometimes be difficult with strange dogs however when he knows them he is good after a proper intro. This also needs some work.
He walks on a canny collar quite well. He has good recall and loves to play fetch and has knowledge of basic commands such as sit, lay down, bed and learns very quickly. He loves a fuss and a belly scratch as well as his walks. Echo is full vaccinated, deflead and wormed.

Lily – 6-8 month old female German Shepherd Dog
Lily is a 6-8 month old German Shepherd Dog who has just come to us after being given up by her owners as they found her too much with a new baby on the way. She was surrendered into a council pound and was due to be put to sleep had we not stepped in to help her. She is currently in kennels on the Wiltshire/Oxfordshire border.
Lily is good with dogs and people of all ages however due to her age and bouncy nature we will not home her to a family with children under the age of 5 years of age.
Lily is keen to learn and will benefit from training classes to ensue she learns proper manners as so far she has not had the best start or training. She will be neutered, vaccinated, deflead and wormed before being rehomed.
