Molly – 3 year old female Greyhound
Molly is a timid little Greyhound girl aged 3 years old, black with a sweet face. She walks well on the lead and is happy with most dogs.

She is clean and non-destructive in the house and would be happiest living with another dog. She only stands 25″ to the shoulder. Molly will not be re-homed with cats or young children.

Prince – 2 year old male Greyhound
Prince (AKA Jester) is a 2 year old very handsome white and black Greyhound dog, brother to the beautiful Belle. He is very nice natured and currently in foster with our Devon and Cornwall branch. Prince will not be re-homed with cats.

Zorro – 4 year old male Greyhound
This beautiful boy is called Zorro, he’s a Greyhound boy aged approximately 4 years old and was found abandoned in a supermarket car park. He is very affectionate, loves to play and is good with other dogs.
He stands 27″ to the shoulder but is a wide, stocky lad. He is strong on the lead and will need training to curb this.

Zorro is a firm favourite at the kennels. He is such a happy, affectionate lad. If you’re looking for a playful bundle of fun, he’s your boy. His looks cause admiration wherever he goes and at night he rescues heroines from evil bandits (or he would if he could). Zorro is a lovely, big, cuddly boy. He will not be re-homed with cats.

Ash – 3 year old male Greyhound
Ash is a handsome, 3 year old, black and white Greyhound boy who stands 29″ to the shoulder. He needs to settle in and learn to be more comfortable with other dogs but will make a fantastic companion.
He will not be re-homed with cats.

Lois – 2 year old female Greyhound
Lois is a beautiful, quiet black 2 year old Greyhound girl with adorable white snowflakes in her coat. She stands 27″ to the shoulder and will not be re-homed with cats.

Lizzie – 2 1/2 year old female Greyhound
Poor little Lizzie is an 2 1/2 year old Greyhound girl, she is thin and her coat is dull, but it won’t be long before the kennel staff and volunteers work their magic. She is currently in care in Wiltshire. She is sweet and small and a bit bewildered at the moment but we can see that she is a little diamond waiting to shine. Lizzie will not be re-homed with cats.

Lizzie’s coat has, as predicted, come through beautifully. She is a real picture – so dainty and shiny – a real little princess. She is always happy to see people but calms right down when she comes out for a walk. She walks really well on the lead but can get very excited if she sees an interesting furry creature so you will need to be aware that she could suddenly pull. Lizzie needs to be out of kennels and into a home so she can start her proper life with her forever family.
Isis – 5 year old female Greyhound
Poor Isis is a small, 5 year old female black Greyhound who was found straying. She has very sore feet and legs and is very sad and scared currently in kennels in Wiltshire. She is a small, 5 year old, black girl with a very sweet, grey face. She is friendly, trusting and affectionate despite her ordeal and will make someone an adorable and adoring friend.

Update from her carer:
Well, Isis has shown herself to be a little darling. Through all the pain of her sore feet she is a happy, affectionate little girl who is always overjoyed to see you. She is still on grassy walks only but has managed to walk around the field now which gives her a more interesting experience. It never fails to surprise me how forgiving of the human race these dogs can be. Isis will make a loving devoted pet for the person who gives her the love and care she so badly needs and deserves.
Cruz – 2 1/2 year old male Saluki Cross
Cruz is a 2 1/2 year old male, adult, smooth-coated Saluki cross who was found as a stray, tied up in a semi rural area outside of Bristol. He is currently waiting to come into our rescue kennels and in foster care in Bristol.
He is in a very good condition and will be castrated this week. Cruz is very friendly with people and his reactions with other dogs can vary. It is still early days yet but this breed of dog must go to an experienced sight hound owner and is not for the faint hearted.
He is good on the lead but a bit more training will be needed and a home without young children or cats is required. He is a very handsome boy who really does not need to spend too much time in a dog pound as the noise and stress will do him no favours.

Judy is inquisitive, friendly and exceptionally pretty Greyhound girl who is 2 1/2 years old. She adores people and will always give us a fantastic welcome. It would be amazing to be the highlight of this little girl’s day, every day. She will adore her new family with a passion.

Judy is a lively girl with a bouncy, happy personality. She will benefit from some basic training in a home without small children. However, she walks beautifully on the lead – just be aware that she will get very excited if she sees a rabbit or squirrel! These furry distractions aside, she loves to mooch along with her nose in the undergrowth, picking up all those scents, and is very loving, often rubbing her head on your leg as she walks along. Judy will not be re-homed with cats.
Judy is based in Wiltshire.
Bailey – 7 year old male Greyhound
Poor Bailey has lost his home and his pack through no fault of his own. He is 7 years old and is used to living with other dogs, he is currently in foster care in Cornwall. He is clean and dry in the house and would love to find a new, loving home with a family who will appreciate him for the gentle lad he is. Bailey is currently in a foster home awaiting his forever family. He will not be re-homed with cats.
An update from Bailey’s foster family:
Bailey is now allowed off lead and behaves himself perfectly! We would now describe him as a “just add water” dog, as he is so companionable and affectionate. Despite finding himself in a foster home with six other dogs, he has conducted himself so well that there hasn’t been even the tiniest scrap of opposition during the time he’s been with us.
He is not a placid wet blanket, but a confident, fully-rounded dog with the happiest disposition you could ask for. He does have a few scars from previous injuries, but these might well fur over in time. Already the bald patches on his bottom, probably from the time one of his rear legs was broken, are now sprouting healthy new coat.
Yes, Bailey is seven, but he is extremely fit, and in all probability he may well have more than half his lifespan still ahead of him. Bailey’s foster parents believe he would settle perfectly well as an only dog – he does love his cuddles! – but since there has been no friction in our very mixed household, we believe he would also be delighted to share a home with other dogs of either sex, and not just Greyhounds. He’s currently sharing with a Springer Spaniel, Border Collie and a Dobermann cross Springer Spaniel, and you don’t get more mixed than that!
Please give him a chance – he is so deserving of a forever home – and the rewards will be wonderful.
