Amber – 5 year old female Whippet Cross
Amber is a 5 year old Whippet cross female, she is a bit shy when first meeting people. Once she knows you she soon settles. She is whippet sized but looks bigger on these photos! Amber is CAT FRIENDLY, house trained and good with other dogs.
She will need to go to a home with another dog or someone who is around most of the time, as she doesn’t like being alone. So with time and patience this girl will become a very loyal companion.

Heidi is a 5 year old ex-racing Greyhound female, with lovely black and white markings. Heidi is a typical greyhound loving and friendly. She gets on well with people once she know them and will make someone a wonderful companion.

She is very nervous of strangers, she thinks she is going to get told of about everything. Heidi will needs a calm home, with not much activity going on, as it would be too much for her. She is fine with children a home without them would be best as they would frighten her.
Her new owner would have to be patient, and come to see her regulalry before they took her on, so she could get use to them. So ideally Heidi needs a quiet home with another dog for company.
Vinnie – 3 year old male Saluki Cross
Vinnie is a 3 year old male Saluki cross who has come to us as a stray and is in boarding kennels at the moment. He is almost a full Saluki boy – he is incredibly handsome. Here are some new photos of Vinnie but they are taken on a mobile, so don’t do him justice.
Vinnie is good with people and travels well in the car and is clean in his kennel. We have discovered Vinnie is not good with chickens and we will assess him with other dogs shortly. He will make a lovely companion when he settles.
Treacle – 3 year old male Greyhound
Treacle is a 3 year old male Greyhound, below you can see him enjoying the sun at a meet and greet. Treacle is house trained and loves people and dogs, he did go out to a home but they couldn’t keep him. Treacle gets too excited around very small dogs when outside, so he will need to be kept on the lead around little dogs.
However he did live with a small female dog and they got on very well, it is only outside off lead he gets carried away. This is the only small hiccup with this lad he is fantastic in every other way.

Millie is a very pretty Greyhound girl who is 5 years old. Millie is house-trained, adores people, travels well in the car and walks well on the lead. Millie is very playful and loving but will need a set routine and will probably be best as an only dog, she gets on well with them outside but likes to be the centre of attention.
Millie could possibly live with an easy going male dog. Millie really needs a home a soon as possible as she she is unhappy in kennels and is loosing weight. We really want to get this girl the home she deserves quickly. She would be best suited to a home with someone around for most of the day.
Lucas – 6-12 month old male Lurcher
Lucas is a rough coated Lurcher male under 1 year old. Lucas has had a un-coordinated walk since he was born,the vet can find nothing wrong and Lucas is improving as each month passes. Lucas lives in a foster home with other dogs and is doing well, he loves to play though tires easily.
With regular exercise his coordination will improve and as he builds up stamina so will his strength. He leads a totally normal life and needs a home where he will receive lots of love and attention.
Lucas is a handsome chap and is doing well but as he can tire easily, he can go on walks but only short ones at the moment.

Harry is a an stunning brindle greyhound boy who is 4 years old. He was going to be put to sleep because his family were going abroad to live. He is fit, healthy and a lovely boy. He is very sweet but nervous and unfortunately we have had to put him in kennels as there are no foster space.
He really needs a home asap as kennels as he is not happy in kennels. A volunteer spent some time with him and said: “Harry enjoyed leading on the walk and got on well with Dan, looking around showing interest, he didn’t seem to respond to fuss but this is a new thing for him. Harry is good on the lead liking to sniff”.
With some time and TLC Harry should really come out of himself.

Sam is a Saluki cross Greyhound male aged approximately 1 1/2 years old. He is black, tan and white. he was found in Richmond and the pound took him in. He is nervous of new people and dogs at the moment but with Rowan showing him the ropes he is settling quickly.
Sam will be available for re-homing once his confidence has increased, which we hope won’t be long with the TLC he is getting. He does love other dogs and people once he knows them.

Daniel is a beautiful fawn Greyhound male about 3 years old (bit wet from the rain in these photos). He is tall but slim in build. He has just come on from thepound but first impressions are he is a lovely lad. One of our volunteers spent some time with him and has this to say “he is fab, elegant and when he walks he keeps part of his tongue out of the left side of his mouth.
Very gentle on the lead, walks to heal. Daniel is just so calm. He wasn’t very keen, always looking forward rather than at sheep etc, Daniel enjoyed fuss and was wagging heavily when I cuddled him in his pen”.

Jack is a Lurcher but mainly Greyhound male who is only about 1 year old. He is a smashing boy who loves his food! He is a bit nervous of the people at the moment but with TLC and patience he will come along nicely and be more confident.

He is good with other dogs, walks well on the lead and is house-trained. We will have more details once he settles in.
