2Feb2011 | Happy Staffie Rescue Worcestershire | READ MOREHarris – 2-3 year old male American Bull Dog
Although Harris is a bull breed dog he is not a Staffie and was rescued by us as he faced immediate destruction after he was found tied up and left to fend for himself in the freezing cold. Because of this it means we have no information to pass on about his life and temperament before coming into our care.

He is a very handsome American bull dog of adult age and as you can see from his photos he is a very nervous chap that is looking for an gentle and understanding new owner that can help him regain his confidence. He is a very quiet lad and would best suit a home with no children or other animals.

Can you offer this very special boy the home and care he very much needs?
For more information about Harris or to meet him please call us.

Chester – 4 1/2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
A 4 ½ year old Chester came into rescue in May 2010 as a very sad little boy with some issues that put many people off offering him a safe new home. We are unsure about his full history but know that he had been past around never truly finding a forever home to call his own. In November Happy Staffie Rescue was delighted to be able to fund an amazing opportunity to give Chester the chance to attend an amazing dog psychology centre in Berkshire where he would get a one to one rehabilitation programme that he so desperately needed to the happy and contented dog we are sure he once was.

Chester was taken into the centre and to our amazement he welcomed the opportunity to participate in a centre pack dog walk with no aggression shown. It was quickly recognised that Chester in fact is a dog that would hugely benefit from being immersed into a pack life to help reduce his so very high need for human contact.

It’s vital for Chester to continue on his road back to being a normal and settled dog and to do this he is looking for the right home more than ever as a return back to kennel life would most certainly undo the good work that has already been achieved. We also believe that it would help Chester’s future stability if he were rehomed where he is the only dog with assertive owners, or with other dogs where the owner has experience of managing a group of dogs.
Can you help this very special little boy?
If you feel you can offer Chester the future he so very much deserves and are serious about committing the time and energy needed to ensure his happy future then please contact Jo Cottrell at Dog Trouble direct on 0118 9791214 or email jocottrell@dogtrouble.co.uk
(please do not use this number for information about any other dog on our website)
Please note Chester is currently located at the psychology centre in Berkshire and would ideally be rehomed from there.
