Bob – 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Bob 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Very friendly boy, can mix with other dogs although has some habits which alarm other dogs so would be better as only pet. Strong terrier traits so not recommended with cats, small animals. Has been very upset at his move and will need time and help to settle and trust. He is guarded of himself at times so patience will be needed. Children over 12 years only. Bob has spent most of his time in the garden at his previous home and is now quite confused.

Can you offer Bob a home or sponsorship to help keep this poor little chap going until he finds his forever place?

Poppy – 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Poppy is approx 2yrs old staffy girl. Rescued from ‘death row’ at the pound after being abused by youths at the side of the road, when she came to us she also had what appeared to be knife wounds across her face. Even though she was treated so badly she is so full of love, great with other dogs, children and was very well behaved on her first meeting with a cat. Can you give Poppy the forever home she so deserves?

Ronny – 3 year old male Labrador Cross

Ronny is a 3 year old large Black Labrador crossbreed. Due to a relationship breakup Ronny is being left for up to 12hours a day and is becoming understandably bored. Ronny is used to living with young children. He gets a little excited when seeing other dogs in the street and has not had much socialisation although he did go to puppy training. Ronny would be more suited as the only pet as he as no experience of living with other animals. He is very good with children but due to his size we would recommend children over 8yrs.

Rico – 14 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Dogue de Beaux

Rico is a 14 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Dogue De Bordeaux. Rico was the result of an accidental mating in the park with the owner’s dog and a friends Dogue De Bordeaux. 3 puppies were found very good homes and Rico was kept as company for his Mum Tia. Unfortunately they fell out when Rico was 8months old which can happen with littermates or dogs from the same family. The two have been kept in separate homes since. Rico is a very soppy dog who loves cozy cuddles. We would recommend him for children over 10 years and to be the only pet.

Buddy – 3 year old male Golden Retriever

Buddy is a 3 year old Golden Retriever. Buddy was given away by his owners who didn’t inform new owners about his serious cataracts. New owners feel it’s too much for them to cope with mostly financially. Buddy is almost blind. Vets opinion is that one eye could be operated on but the chances of the cataract coming back are high. Blind dogs do very well. He is very well behaved and has been very good with children in the home. Buddy may be better suited to older children or a calm home with perhaps another dog to show him the way. Blind dogs usually adapt incredibly well.

Amba – 2-3 year old female Jack Russell Terrier

Amba approximately 2-3yrs. Jack Russell cross Staffy. She doesn’t seem too fazed by other dogs as she has met several at once on park walks. Shows a very keen interest in cats so probably best in a cat free home. We recommend her for
children over 7 or 8 as she can be a little bouncy although she does listen and is showing signs of being a good learner. She likes to sunbathe. A lovely girl can you help?
