Simba – 2 year old male Japanese Akita


Meet Simba, he’s a 2 year old long-haired Japanese Akita boy. He came into us and is in a foster home in the South-East until his new home can be found. He is a big lad – even for an Akita. He is friendly and good with most dogs but not with cats! He will make someone a fab companion!

Bonnie – 3 year old female Japanese Akita


Bonnie is a gorgeous 3 year old Japanese Akita girl who is being rehomed through a change of owner circumstances. She is not good with cats and is best homed as the only dog in the household. She has been brought up with children who are quite young and loves nothing more than being cuddled and giving kisses. Bonnie likes being talked to and loves it when you chatter away and tell you about her day.

Bonnie is currently in foster care in Notinghamshire and needs a suitable stable home to call her own where she will receive as much love as she did in her previous home.

Dewin – 6 year old male Japanese Akita


Dewin is a handsome Japanese Akita lad of 6 years old currently based in Wrexham. He is seeking a new home due to his current owners immigration plans. Dewin is not dog aggressive but untried with cats. He is used to children of all ages and currently lives with a 2 year old and a 5 year old with no issues. He is a playful friendly boy who will be sadly missed by his owners.

He also prefers to sleep outside unless it is really cold.

Kodi (ref 269) is a young Japanese Akita lady aged 2 1/2 years old who is seeking a new home due to the impending arrival of another baby leaving her owners struggling to find time to look after her.

She is currently based in Widness and although she is good with children she cannot be rehomed with another dog. She is a bouncy and energetic girl who loves to play and enjoys long walks. Kodi needs a new home as soon as possible.

Kenzo – 16-18 month old male Japanese Akita


Meet Kenzo, a 16-18 month old Japanese Akita boy who is looking for a new home. He is a gorgeous friendly dog who adores human company, he walks well on the lead and will sit for treats, so has basic training, he needs a strong leader who is willing to dedicate time to his continued training.

He is at the moment in foster care as he doesn’t get on with male dogs we would advise he is the sole pet in the family, he is not faring well in foster kennels and we really need to find a home for this gorgeous lad as soon as possible.

Kano – 11 month old male Japanese Akita


Kano is an 11 month old Japanese Akita boy currently in council kennels in South Gloucestershire. He was handed in as a stray but later found out it was by his owner who simply doesn’t want him.

He`s s lovely boy who is getting on well with the kennel staff. He is nervous but he is getting a little better every day and showing no aggression. Due to their policy he is untried with other dogs so having no background on him he will need to go to a home with no other animals or young children.
He`s not dealing with being a in a kennel situation and desperately needs a loving home ASAP. Can you help this pretty young boy grow in to a handsome and stable dog?

Shuka – 8 year old female Japanese Akita


Shuka (ref JAWT 267) is a stunning 8 year old Japanese Akita currently based in Cleveland who is seeking a new home due to a change in her owners circumstances.

She is good with children, cats and male dogs but in typical Akita fashion can by funny with other female dogs. She walk well on the lead and is a very well behaved girl who has previously lived with 2 other dogs.
Shuka would make an ideal addition to any family. At the moment she is being kennelled, and as it is not ideal her situation is very urgent. Please can you help?

Brutus is a 2 year old male Japanese Akita currently located in Co. Antrim Northern Ireland. He is used to children but has limited experience of other dogs and is untried with cats.

He currently lives on a farm where he has lots of exercise and company so would be best suited to an active home. He is seeking a new home through no fault of his own.
