Ruby – 7 year old female Cross-Breed
Ruby is very playful and loves to cuddle but can be wary of men. She is good with children and other dogs but is not suitable with cats. Ruby is housetrained and can be left for short periods only as she may chew if bored. Ruby is good on and off her lead and will travel well in the car.
Oscar – 4 year old male Stafforshire Bull Terrier
Oscar has been returned to the centre due to his adopter no longer having time for the dog. Oscar has been around children over 5 years and has been an only pet. He is good with some dogs but not all. Oscar is housetrained but may wee when excited, he can be left alone for a maximum of 4 hours. Oscar pulls a little on his lead and has no recall; he will run away if let off his lead. Oscar is an excitable traveller and would be better crated when in the car.
Paddy – 7 year old male Cross-Breed
Paddy has come back into the centre after being in his home for 6 years due to his owner moving in with his partner. Paddy needs a home with attention and company. He is fine with children and fine with dogs when out and about and enjoys playing. (He may be suitable to live with a spayed bitch.) He suffers with separation anxiety and may mess when left alone; we are looking for a home with company to help over come this with the aid of crate training for times when he is left alone. Once he has bonded he seems to settle and with reassurance we feel he would soon become settled and less anxious.
Paddy wears a harness and walks lovely and has good recall. Paddy wears a harness when travelling in the car as he can be bouncy. Paddy adores cuddles and kisses and would make a lovely family pet.

Bruno and Cookie have come into the centre due to the owner not having time to give them the attention they deserve. Cookie is a spayed female aged 9 years and Bruno a male aged 8 years. Both have lived with children but have been the only pets in the home. When out and about both dogs can be fine with other dogs but may retaliate if provoked. They are both housetrained and can be left alone. They travel well in the car and enjoy playing with their toys. Bruno can be a little possessive with his toys and doesn’t like sharing with Cookie so they need plenty of toys to go around.
Both walk fine on chain leads once the initial excitement has disappeared. They also have good recall and enjoy playing fetch. They have a very loving nature and typical to the breed will bark for attention. Bruno is more vocal than Cookie and likes to take charge. They have been together for 8 years hence why we would like to rehome them together.
*Staffie experience essential for this pair of beauties.

Ronnie 2 years old Rottweiler spayed female. Good with children but not suitable with other pets. Housetrained and can be left short periods. Needs experienced Rottie owner.
Bungle – 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog
Bungle 1 year male castrated German Shepherd crossbreed. Good with older children, good with other dogs, housetrained. Suffers with separation anxiety and would benefit from a companion at home. Needs some training and plenty of exercise and stimulation.
Kya – 4 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Kya 4 years old female spayed Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Friendly with children, not suitable with pets, housetrained and can be left alone up to 4 hours. Loves attention, agility and playing with toys.
Nookie – 6 year old male German Shepherd
Nookie 6 years German Shepherd. Male, castrated, vacced and micro-chipped. Not suitable for a family home, as he has a very high guarding trait. Not suitable with other pets. Needs experienced handler only.
Dave – 4 year old male Labrador Cross
Dave 4 years Labrador cross. Male, vacced and micro-chipped. Good with children but not suitable to live with other dogs. Housetrained and can be left up to 4 hours. Likes to retrieve toys and have plenty of exercise.
