Sadie - 4 year old female Collie cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Sadie is a 4 year old female Collie cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who has a really sweet nature and a big smile. She is basically a Collie in looks, but with the body size and shape of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. In additon she has the most fantastic big ears!
Sadie would be best as the only dog, but she would be fine with a family with children, as she came from a home where she was very good with the children there. Her thoughts on cats are unknown. Sadie has a lovely temperament and is a really loving little girl. She is house-trained, knows some basic commands and is very attentive.
A home within or close to the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area would be preferred.

Beautiful Sheeba is a 1 year old female German Shepherd, who has not really experienced anything outside her previous home and garden prior to rescue. She is now socialising with other dogs, but because of her lack of contact at the start of her life, it would probably be best for Sheeba to be the only dog in her new home.
She is learning what being on a lead and going on a walk means, and is now being introduced to the big world outside. Despite her limited experiences and young age, Sheeba is quite a calm lass, but would still need her new owners to be strong enough to handle this larger breed.
Although slightly wary at first, Sheeba is really enjoying some nice attention. Really all she needs is love! A home within or close to the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area would be preferred.
Tsuba - 18 month old male German Shepherd Dog
Tsuba (pronounced ’suba’) is a beautiful and highly intelligent 18 month old male German Shepherd who is urgently looking for a new home as his foster carer is very ill. He deserves the very best in his new home, because his last home was a very unhappy one, and Tsuba has the scars to prove it. You would expect him to hate humans given his past, but in fact he is very loving and whilst a little wary at first, he has shown nothing but affection to all he meets.
He is currently in a foster home, where he has been fine with the resident cat, and has been totally clean in the house. Tsuba has a really lovely temperament and is good on the lead. He is obedient, calm and sensible. A family with older children or an adult only household would be fine for Tsuba. He can be left for short periods, but a home with people around a fair amount of time would possibly be ideal.
Tsuba is very frightened of other dogs, and his new owner would need to continue the work that his foster carer has put in to overcome this problem. Tsuba would be best as the only dog, or possibly with an older, calm dog that would not pose any threat to Tsuba.
A home close to or within the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area would be preferred.

Sweet Dusty is a 12 year old Collie cross Spaniel male who is just adorable. He is fine with children, as long as they leave him alone to snooze away the day. He has no problem with other dogs and would be fine to live with a doggy pal. Dusty is house-trained, and his favourite pass time is playing with a ball - there is plenty of get up and go in this older boy yet!
If you are looking for a steady fellow who will happily fit onto your life then Dusty is the boy for you. Dusty is microchipped and castrated. A new home in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area, or close to that, would be preferred.

Bobby is a 4 year old Weimaraner male who is a very happy boy, looking for an active family. He is good with children and other dogs are not a problem to Bobby either. He would be fine to live with another dog - he just wants everyone to play! A new home with a good amount of time to spend with this adorable boy would be perfect for him.
Bobby is castrated and micro-chipped. A new home in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area, or close to that, would be preferred.
Amber - 4 year old female Boxer cross Mastiff
Amber is a 4 year old female Boxer cross Mastiff who is a great all round dog and a real beauty! She is fine with other doggy friends and loves people.
From her initial reaction to cats at the rescue it is thought it would be too risky to place her with resident cats. Amber does not seem phased by anthing and will hopefully fit very nicely into an active new home.
A new home in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area, or close to that, would be preferred.

Holly and Ivy are very sweet little sisters, probably Whippet cross Dalmatians aged approximately 4 years old who need to be rehomed together, as they totally rely upon each other. They love to curl up together, as you can see from their photo.
Holly and Ivy have a beautiful gentle nature, and are very loving. Although both are nervous, since their rescue they have really progressed very well. Ivy looks after Holly, and together they have been through so much, so they deserve to find a happy, caring new home as a pair.

They are clean in the house, cat friendly, and know some basic commands. Both are neutered and micro-chipped. A new home needs to offer these gorgeous little girls a lot of patience, gentleness and kindness to continue the fantastic progress they have already made in overcoming their fear of the world. If you come to see them you will fall in love!

Bugsy is a medium sized cross-breed male (we think Labrador cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier) aged approximately 2 year old with lots of love and a big smile, despite his bad start! He has been in the care of Kirkby Pet Welfare for some time, and they are looking for an experienced person to give a future to this special dog.
He is a strong, friendly chap, and has the potential to make a very loyal, loving dog, but really needs the patience, care, kindness and training of an experienced owner – all things he did not get in his life before rescue.
Bugsy cannot be placed with another male dog, but could possibly be placed with a calm female dog. He should not go to a home with small children because of his strength. He is neutered and micro-chipped.
Bridie - 2 year old male Greyhound cross Collie
Bridie is a very handsome Greyhound cross Collie male aged approximately 2 years old. He is a happy loving dog who likes people and other dogs. Bridie walks nicely on the lead, and knows some basic commands, but will benefit from further training.
He should make a good family dog in an environment where he is given clear but kind human leadership. He is neutered and micro-chipped.
Sky - 1 year old female Cross-Breed
Sky is approximately 1 year old and is a lovely pretty little knee high medium sized cross-breed with a smidgen of Staffordshire Bull Terrier, but little and slender rather than stocky.
Sky has a very sweet nature and is a friendly little lass, who would be fine with a youngish family. Sky is neutered and micro-chipped.
