Ozzy – 1 year old male Labrador Retriever

Ozzy is a 1 year old male Labrador Retriever who is microchipped. Has not lived with children so therefore we would be looking for a home with children of 12 years and over. Good with other dogs, and is currently in a foster home with a cat. He has been introduced to horses, he is a little curious around them but is very well behaved.

He is good with children but due to his medical condition he would suit a home with older children. He is very obedient and knows the majority of commands. Unfortunately this young chap has recently been diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia. His weight will need to be kept under control and his excercise will need to be restricted. All medication and treatment relating to this condition will be covered for by the charity. He really is a fantastic family dog.

Molly – 5 year old female Labrador Retriever

Molly is a 5 year old yellow Labrador Retriever, she was a stray but has been in a foster home. As you can see from the photograph she is very overweight but with gentle excercise and a suitable diet she is losing weight on a daily basis. She does unfortunately have a medical problem, she has been diagnosed with Hip Dysplaisa, this is maybe one of the reasons why she was dumped. As this is a pre existing condition, any medical treatment for the hip would be covered for by the Charity.

Here’s what her foster family have to say:-

“Molly (formerly known as Doris!) is a lovely lady, who is gentle and affectionate with everyone around her. She enjoys being around people and although she gets a little bit excited when her walk starts she is very good on and off the lead once the walk is underway! She is well trained and is good around other animals. She loves cuddling up on her sheepskin bed once the day is done.”
