Benson – 5 year old male Labrador Retriever


This is Benson and he is a 5 year old male Labrador Retriever. He is a lovely, friendly boy who really enjoys being out and about on his walks. We know that Benson enjoyed being around horses and loves to bring you his toys but is not that happy to share! Benson is looking for an experienced owner as he will require patient guidance to learn to share nicely. He will require an adult only home or older, sensible teenage children. He could possibly live with a compatible dog and will require a garden to play in and lots of daily walks. He is a strong boy on the lead and would benefit from additional, kind, training.

Parsley – 4 year old male Lurcher


This is Parsley and he is a 4 year old male Lurcher. He is a friendly and happy boy who wags his tail at everyone he meets. He loves to be groomed and looks forward to his regular, daily walks. Parsley was protective over his bed and food when he arrived and is responding well to training. He would like a home as an only pet and no children.

Dinky – 18 month old male Jack Russell Terrier


This is Dinky and he is a 18 month old male Jack Russell Terrier. He is a happy and friendly boy with a real character. He has received obedience training but will require an experienced terrier owner. He is crate trained and could live with older teenage children. Dinky would prefer to live as an only pet and receive all the time and exercise that he needs.

Tilly – 8 month old female Jack Russell Terrier cross Patterdale Terrier


Tilly is an 8 month old Jack Russell Terrier cross Patterdale Terrier. She is a very sweet, friendly girl who was brought into the Centre as she was not getting on with the other dog she lived with. She has made new canine friends at the Centre and is happy to meet and greet them but would want to live as an only pet. Tilly is well behaved and house trained and she is looking for an active home with a garden to play in. She will require at least two long walks each day and playtime and lots of cuddles. Tilly could live with children over the age of 12 years.

Darcy – 3 year old male Dachshund Cross


Darcy is a 3 year old Dachshund cross. He is a cute boy who has bonded well with his kennel assistant but can still be very unsure of new people until he knows they are not going to hurt him. Once you have gained his trust he is very friendly and affectionate and loves his tummy to be rubbed. Darcy has responded very well to training to prevent him from being over protective with his food and toys.

He is looking for a new owner who is an experienced dog owner who will allow him sufficient time to settle into a new home. He would like a home without children and other pets. Darcy is not happy when other dogs bark at him and he would need to be kept on a lead for exercise to keep him from getting into mischief. Darcy will make a very loyal and attentative companion.

Chocolate – 2 year old male Lurcher


Chocolate is a 2 year old male Lurcher. He is a very friendly and happy boy who loves everyone he meets and tries to get as many cuddles as possible. He is bouncy and giddy and would benefit from additional training. He loves his food so treat rewards would work very well. Chocolate would make a great family pet and could live with children over the age of 12 years and possibly a compatible dog.

Robin – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross


Robin is a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. He is a happy, friendly little boy who can be a little shy when first meeting new people. He loves his toys and his food and has a very sweet temperament. Robin loves his daily walks and spending time with people. He is looking for a patient, kind owner who will continue to build his confidence in new situations. He could live with older, teenage children and would like a garden to play and regular, daily exercise.

Benson is 4 year old Collie Cross. He is a very handsome boy who is well behaved and very clean in his kennel. He is exceptionally loyal and very trusting and loving once he gets to know you. It appears that Benson had been on his own and straying for a while before he was finally brought to the Centre. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people but soon gains his confidence. Benson is hoping that someone will offer him a loving, home where he can build his confidence. He would like to live in an adult home that is calm and steady and ideally where he is not on his own all day. He adores to be with people and could possibly live with a compatible dog.

Leo – 14 month old male Neopolitan Mastiff


Leo is a 14 month old Neopolitan Mastiff. Leo may not have had the best start in life as he can be a little cautious around new people, however, he soon makes new friends and can be very bouncy and happy. Leo would benefit from additional training and is looking for an experienced Mastiff owner. He could live with older teenage children and possibly a compatible bitch. He is a large overgrown puppy who does not realise how big he is when he wants to greet us with kisses and cuddles. Leo will need a garden to play in and regular daily exercise and someone who has got plenty of time and patience for him.

Cash is a 7 year old German Shepherd Dog. Cash is a very friendly boy who loves everyone he meets. He adores fuss and attention and is a well behaved boy. He enjoys his food and loves to play with his tennis ball. Cash would love to have a new home as he is only really happy when he’s with someone. He would be happy with a garden to potter in and regular walks. He would make an excellent, loyal and affectionate companion. Cash could live with children over the age of 12 years and possibly a compatible dog.
