Nandi – 5 month old male Rottweiler cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier
We love this puppy his name is Nandi and he is a rottie cross staffy boy who is nearly 5 months old and only brought in because his owner has again been posted to Afghanistan and his wife is working such long shifts its just not fair on him…. He is a well brought up puppy who has been living in a family home.
He is going to be a big boy, he is great with the other dogs and all people he meets he has that X-factor and is a firm favorite he is a real character and we cannot stress what a fabulous dog this is- he would be fine homed with children but he is bouncy so it would have to be children that are used to bouncy dogs or older children. He walks well on a lead and has a great recall – house trained and good in the car…

Meet the lovely Mimsy – approx 3 years old – she was unclaimed from the dog pound… She is now living at a sanctuary not in kennels but as part of the family with many dogs with no problems. We have no history on this lovely dog so we have to make her history now – she has settled in well at the sanctuary and gets on well with the dogs – she has obviously been used for breeding at some point and is probably surplus to requirement and that is why they have got rid of her.

She is actually vey quiet girl and very easy to train so biddable and just loves your company – we cannot home her with young children as we have no history not because she has done anything wrong we just do not know if she is used to them but older children will be fine…

Judy – 4 year old female Border Terrier cross Yorkshire Terrier Cross
Meet our lovely Judy approx 4 years old she is an unclaimed stray from the pound… When she came in she was very thin but is putting on weight now – Judy is a confident little doggy but she is very quiet and sweet – loves her cuddles – she needs a quiet home without young children as she would not like the noise….
Milo – 7 year old male Labrador cross Retriever
Meet the most perfect dog in the world Milo , he is 7 years old Labrador cross Retriever. He has been brought up in a family home with young children, he is well trained and great with everyone and everything not really much else we can add.
He has been handed in because of a very sad divorce, he needs to lose some weight but we are working on this already and its going great as he now has lots of friends to run around with, going to be great dog for somebody.

This is the lovely Pepper 3/4 German Shepherd, she is approx 3 – 4 years old. This dog was found running up a main road with some twine around her neck , so we have no history on her. We believe this has been a loved dog at some point.

She had already been spayed and is very well behaved and lovely natured with everyone. She is great with the other dogs at the sanctuary and loves children but because of having no history we can only home her to a home with older children, a beautiful sensitive girl who is going to make somebody a wonderful companion.

This scrummy little boy we have called Mitch he is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross and totally yummy – he is approx 5 months and a very surprisingly gentle puppy not manic – he is living at the sanctuary with lots of other dogs who he gets on well with and plays with but he would rather snuggle up to you for cuddles than run around – he is totally lovely and somebody he going to be very lucky.

Bella – 6 year old female Labrador Retriever
Bella is a 6 year old Labrador girl who has been given up through no fault of her own. She is the most lovely and I can say hand on heart if it was not for the fact I have 3 other dogs and so many dogs need help she would not be going anywhere. She is living with myself in a family home consisting of 2 older children, 3 other dogs, cats and chicken – we have not had a moments bother with her – she is well trained and completely house trained.
She is still very active and needs at least one good walk and run over the fields and parks a day – she is a very sweet sensitive girly and needs to go to a quiet home with older children no young children please she has lived a sheltered life – although if you had visiting children she would be great with them.
No full time workers and if you have other dogs that would be great but its people she loves. Please email in the first instance with the life style you can offer this lovely dog to her foster mummy countryhousekeepers@hotmail.com

Willow is a 2 year old small rough coated lurcher. She was found wandering the street and was never claimed so has been living with a her foster family until she finds her forever home.
Unusually for a lurcher she is fine with all their livestock, rabbits, chickens, etc as well as the cats and dogs. She has no food issues although she can be a little thief if food is left within reach. She’s very affectionate and loves to curl up by your side on the settee.

She is a great dog and deserves a great home her family have no choice and its breaking their heart – so please do not apply for Loki unless you have a secure garden are not full time workers…. her profile is detailed below from her owner – in the first instance please apply by email outlining the life style you can offer her.
Her name is Loki. Named after the God of Mischief! She was a very cheeky puppy!! She is 4 years old and has a lovely waggly tail. She is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Upto date with worming and flea treatment. I have had her since she was 9 weeks old after she was handreared by her breeder as her mum ran out of milk. She is extremely friendly and quite licky! She loves a good tummy rub and any other fuss that comes her way. She has been around children since she came home and loves my 11 month old daughter. I have nieces and nephews ages from 4 – 11 and she is always great with them. She has never met a cat although she does whine at them when they sit on our fence. She has lived with Rats and Mice and would clean them, if they let her! She has been socialised with dogs of all sizes and will play with any that will play with her! She is very playful when out and would love a doggy friend to play with. She could live as an only dog if she had human company for most of the day. She has not lived alone before so I think this may be too much of a change for her. She will sit, wait, lie down, give paw, high five and come when called. She has been taught recall to a hand signal as where I walk it is quite windy so is hard for the dogs to hear a whistle! She loves her walks. She will chase little birds and rabbits but just enjoys the chase. She also chases butterflies and leaves blowing around in the wind.

She loves the beach and will paddle in the sea but not swim. She walks well on the lead but will pull a little at the start out of excitement to get going. It is nothing that I, at 5′ 2″, struggle with. She will walk on a dogmatic headcollar or a gentle leader but she hates halti’s. She will not wear one of those. I am not a fan to be honest. She travels well in the car. Is housetrained. Very very clean. Has never been destructive. She does not bark. She will not live outside as is very much a family dog. She sleeps in the kitchen and loves comfy dog beds. She has a circular one which she curls herself into at night

She has been by my side for 4 1/2 years and I want to find a home where she will be loved and cuddled. The only reason that I am looking for a new home for Loki is that my daughter and I will have to move into my parents’ house in Feb. The rented house we live in currently is being sold and we have to move out. My parents house is a tied cottage on farmland and there are no pets allowed. So I have no choice but to look for a fantastic home and family for my girl. If you have any questions please get in touch.
